2022 개정 미술과 교육과정 ‘미적 체험’ 영역의 5·6학년용 미술 교과서 개발 방향 연구

국문 초록

제7차 교육과정에서 내용 체계를 도입하면서 처음 등장한 미적 체험/체험 영역은 미술과 고유의 특성이 드러나는 영역이면서도 표현, 감상과 달리 영역 구분이 모호하다는 지적이 끊이지 않았다. 현장에서도 교육과정 설계 시 가장 어려움이 많은 영역이었고 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정에 관한 연구에서도 가장 문제가 되는 영역으로 꼽혔다. 이런 상황에서 교과서는 교육과정을 수업에 녹아내게 하는 중요한 도구이기에 현장에서 미적 체험 영역 지도의 어려움을 해소하는 데 도움을 주고자 본 연구는 미적 체험 영역을 교과서로 구현할 때 주목해야 하는 부분을 찾아보고자 하였다. 우선 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정 5·6학년군 체험 영역의 내용 요소와 성취기준을 2022 개정 미술과 교육과정 5·6학년군 미적 체험 영역과 비교하였다. 다음으로 미적 체험 영역이 연계성과 위계성이 낮다는 지적에 따라 2022 개정 미술과 교육과정 5·6학년군 미적 체험 영역의 내용 요소와 성취기준을 3·4학년군과 중학교와 비교하였다. 이를 바탕으로 2015 개정 미술과 교육과정에 따른 5·6학년용 미술 교과서 6종을 참고하여 차기 교육과정 미적 체험 영역의 5·6학년용 미술 교과서 적용 방안을 제시하였다. 그 결과, 1) 감각적 탐색에 디지털 기기를 활용하고, 2) 감각과 사고의 관계를 성찰할 기회를 제공하고, 3) 시각 문화에 내포된 의미를 찾아보도록 하며, 4) 대상과 환경을 탐색하며 의미를 부여하는 활동을 교과서에 반영해야 함을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The Aesthetic Experience/Experience area, which first appeared when the Content System was introduced in the 7th National Curriculum. It has been constantly pointed out that the Aesthetic Experience/Experience area is ambiguous and overlapped with other areas, Expression and Appreciation. School teachers also indicated the area is the most difficult when designing the curriculum, and it was also selected as the most problematic area in the study of the 2015 Revised National Art Curriculum. Textbooks are an important method to deliver the national level curriculum to classroom. Therefore, this study focused on how to imply the Aesthetic Experience area in the 2022 Revised National Art Curriculum into art textbooks in order to support practicing the national curriculum. First, the Content Elements and Achievement Standards of the Experience area for the 5th and 6th graders of the 2015 Revised National Art Curriculum were compared with the Aesthetic Experience area for the 5th and 6th graders of the 2022 Revised National Art Curriculum. Next, according to the criticism that the Aesthetic Experience/Experience area has low connectivity and hierarchy, the Content Elements and Achievement Standards of the Aesthetic Experience area for the 5th and 6th graders of the 2022 Revised National Art Curriculum were compared with the 3rd and 4th grade level and the middle school level. Based on analyzing the previous and new Curricular, we suggested how to apply Aesthetic Experience area of the 2022 Revised National Art Curriculum into new art textbooks for the 5th and 6th graders by referring art textbooks for the 5th and 6th graders based on the previous Curriculum. As a result, these are suggested to apply to develop new art textbooks for the 5th and 6th graders: 1) digital devices should be used for sensory exploration, 2) opportunities to reflect on the relationship between senses and thinking should be supplied, 3) activities to decode denoted meaning implied in visual culture should be included, and 4) opportunities to find and make meanings as exploring objects and environments should be included.
