국문 초록

연구목적: 2019 개정 누리과정의 중점 개정 내용에 적합한 유아중심, 놀이중심의 유아교육이 안착될 수 있도록 놀이자료의 지원 및 개선방안을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구방법: 개정 누리과정의 현장 지원을 돕기 위해 제작된 놀이운영사례집 5종에서 총 155개의 놀이사례를 대상으로 놀이자료를 분석하여 10가지 대항목으로 유목화하였다. 연구결과: 일상 사물 항목에서는 책상, 의자 그리고 음식모형과 공, 자연물・자연현상 항목에서는 나뭇가지와 햇빛, 블록 항목에서는 종이벽돌블록이 많이 사용되었다. 미술재료 항목에서는 다양한 재질의 종이와 가위, 재활용품 항목에서는 종이박스와 휴지심, 책 항목에서는 관심사와 관련된 책이나 종이접기 책이 자주 등장하였다. 악기 항목에서는 실로폰과 핸드벨, 수학・과학적 탐구자료 항목에서는 돋보기와 줄자, 시청각 매체 영역에서는 유아의 얼굴 사진과 놀이 영상, 몸・신체 항목에서는 온 몸과 손이 놀이자료로 자주 활용되었다. 요약 및 논의: 유아의 놀이에서 놀이자료의 개수나 종류가 많이 필요한 것은 아니었다. 그리고 사물 뿐 아니라 유아의 신체나 자연현상도 놀이자료로 사용되었다. 또한 구조화된 놀이자료와 비구조화된 놀이자료가 얽혀서 활용되었으며, 우연히 만난 놀이자료로부터 새로운 놀이가 생성되기도 하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 2019 개정 누리과정의 취지에 맞는 놀이자료 기준이 새롭게 개편되고 다양한 종류의 놀이자료를 열린 공간에서 열린 용도로 활용할 수 있도록 하며, 이를 위해 놀이자료 구입절차가 간소화될 필요가 있음을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose was to explore ways to support and improve play materials so that child-centered, play-centered early childhood education can be established in accordance with the revision of the 「2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum」. Method: A content analysis was conducted on a total of 155 play cases from the 5 volumes of the Play Operation Casebooks produced to help provide on-site support for the revised Nuri course. Play materials were classified into 10 categories. Results: In the everyday objects category, desks, chairs, food models, and balls were widely used, tree branches and sunlight were frequently used in the natural objects and natural phenomena category, and paper brick blocks were frequently used in the block category. In the art materials category, paper and scissors of various materials frequently appeared, in the recycling products category, paper boxes and toilet paper rolls, and in the books category, books related to interests or origami books often appeared. In the musical instruments category, xylophones and handbells, in the mathematical and scientific research materials category, magnifying glasses and tape measures, in the audiovisual media category, pictures of children's faces and play videos, and in the body/body category, the whole body and hands were frequently used as play materials. Conclusion: This study proposed that the standards for play materials should be reorganized in line with the purpose of the 「2019 Revised Nuri Curriculum」, that various types of play materials should be allowed to be used for open purposes in open spaces, and that the purchase procedure for play materials should be improved accordingly.
