협력적 접근을 활용한 언어중재에 대한 특수교사와 언어재활사의 경험과 요구

국문 초록

이 연구에서는 협력적 접근을 경험한 특수교사와 언어재활사를 대상으로 두 전문가 집단의 협력적 접근의 경험과 요구를 알아보고자 하였다. 특수교사 4명, 언어재활사 4명을 대상으로 개인별 심층면담을 진행한 결과, 상위범주 3개, 하위범주 8개, 의미단위 22개가 도출되었다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교사와 언어재활사는 수업의 효율성 및 질 향상, 언어 능력 및 일반화 기회 부여를 위해 두 전문가의 다양한 협력적 접근이 필요하다고 인식하였다. 또한 두 전문가가 경험한 협력적 접근의 유형으로는 개별화교육 회의 참여 등 적극적 협력과 서면이나 통화로 의사소통하는 소극적인 협력이 있었다. 둘째, 두 전문가는 협력적 접근이 어려운 이유로 제도적 측면의 어려움, 환경적 측면의 어려움, 개인적 측면의 어려움을 경험하였다. 셋째, 두 전문가의 협력적 접근 실행을 위한 방안으로는 두 전문가의 역량 강화 지원을 위한 연수 프로그램 개설 및 관련 모임 활성화 등이 필요하다고 하였으며, 업무 부담 경감 등 제도적 지원도 필요하다고 하였다. 또한, 협력적 접근에 대한 두 전문가의 참여 의지와 서로에 대한 존중과 배려하는 마음 등 두 전문가의 인식 변화가 필요하다고 하였다. 이 연구 결과를 바탕으로 두 전문가 집단의 협력적 접근 모델 개발 및 현장에서의 실행에 관한 후속 연구가 필요함을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to find out the experience and demands of a cooperative approach between special education teachers and speech language pathologists(SLPs) who had experience cooperative approach to language intervention. As a result of conducting individual in-depth interviews with 4 special education teachers and 4 SLPs, 3 upper categories, 8 lower categories, and 22 semantic units were derived. The results are as follows. First, it was recognized that special education teachers and SLPs needed a variety of collaborative approaches between the two experts to improve the efficiency and quality of instructions, and to provide opportunities for language skills and generalization. In addition, the types of cooperative approaches experienced by the two experts were active cooperation and passive cooperation. Second, the two experts found that the cooperative approach was difficult due to institutional difficulties(lack of publicity for cooperative approach, lack of legal system and compensation, personal information protection), and environmental difficulties(two experts' different expertise and working environment, lack of communication time, etc.), and personal difficulties(individual differences in the importance of cooperative approaches, differences in parents' interests, etc.). Third, as a plan for cooperative implementation of the two experts, it was necessary to open a training program to support the strengthening of the two experts' capabilities and to activate meetings related to cooperative approaches, and it was necessary to provide institutional support such as reducing work burden. In addition, it was necessary to change the perception of the cooperative approach to participate in the cooperative approach and respect and consideration for each other.
