비교과 프로그램을 통한 성인지감수성 실태 연구 (K대학교 재학생을 중심으로)

국문 초록

이 연구는 성인지감수성 교육을 비교과 프로그램으로 운영한 다음 K대학교 재학생들의 성인지감수성을 알아보는 데 목적이 있다. 조사 대상은 K대학교 3개 캠퍼스 7개 단과대학 재학생으로 2019년부터 2022년까지 평균 1,978명(16.1%)이 조사에 참여하였다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 성인지감수성 22문항을 요인분석 한 결과 성역할 고정관념 성폭력 인식, 성차별 인식의 3개 하위요인으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 2019년에서 2022년까지 K대학교 재학생의 성인지감수성 전체 평균은 4.06점, 성역할 고정관념은 평균 4.27점, 성폭력 인식은 4.36점, 성차별 인식은 3.26점으로 나타났다. 셋째, 성역할 고정관념, 성폭력 인식, 성차별 인식을 이원분산분석 한 결과 주 효과인 성별과 단과 대학별로 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 교육 여부에 따른 성인지감수성의 배경 변인별 상호작용 효과는 성역할 고정관념의 경우 교육 여부와 성별단과대학, 성폭력 인식은 교육 여부와 단과대학 성차별 인식은 교육 여부와 성별 학년단과대학에서 나타났다. 이 연구의 결론으로 성인지감수성 프로그램의 교육 방법 개선, 교육 대상별 맞춤형 교육 콘텐츠 구성, 조사 도구와 방법의 정교화, 학생들이 프로그램에 참여하지 않은 원인과 참여를 위한 유인책 마련 프로그램의 체계적인 평가와 제도화가 필요하다. 제언으로 대학 평가와 연계한 성인지감수성 프로그램의 체계적인 운영과 방향 설정, 인권 센터의 예산과 인력확충, 행정지원, 성인지감수성 프로그램의 교육과 실태조사 결과의 홍보가 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the gender sensitivity of undergraduate students at K University after operating an extracurricular program, specifically an gender sensitivity program. The survey participants consisted of 1,978 students (16.1% on average) from three campuses and seven colleges who were enrolled from 2019 to 2022 and participated in the survey. Firstly, the 22 items of gender sensitivity were subjected to factor analysis, resulting in the classification of three sub-factors: Gender Role Stereotypes, Perception of Sexual Violence, and Perception of Gender Discrimination. Secondly, the overall average gender sensitivity score of K University undergraduate students who enrolled from 2019 to 2022 was 4.06 points. The average score for Gender Role Stereotypes was 4.27 points, for perception of sexual violence was 4.36 points, and for perception of gender discrimination was 3.26 points. Thirdly, the results of the two-way ANOVA for gender role stereotypes, perception of sexual violence, and perception of gender discrimination indicated significant differences based on the main effects of gender and the academic college attended. Additionally, educational background influenced gender sensitivity differently based on their educational background, gender, and academic college for gender role stereotypes, educational background and academic college for perception of sexual violence, educational background, gender, academic year and academic college for perception of gender discrimination. The results of this study suggests measures to improve the gender sensitivity programs for enhancement of educational methods, tailored educational content for different target groups, refinement of research tools and methods, incentives to encourage student participation, systematic program evaluation and institutionalization. It requires measures like running the gender sensitivity program systematically by aligning it with university assessments, increasing budget and staff for the human rights center to support the program, providing administrative assistance, and promoting the educational programs and survey results to raise awareness and participation.
