초등학교 예비교사의 초등무용교육 개념 이해 및 지도 가능한 내용 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등학교 예비교사의 초등무용교육 개념 이해 및 지도 가능한 내용을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 통해 초등학교 체육교과 표현 영역 수업의 원활화와 활성화를 기대해 본다. 본 연구의 연구 방법은 하나의 사례에 집중하여 문헌, 설문지 등 다양한 자료를 수집하고 기술하며 분석하는 사례 연구(case study)이다. 본 연구의 자료 수집으로 문헌 연구와 설문지 조사를 실행하였다. 본 연구의 자료 분석으로 수집한 문헌 자료와 설문지 자료를 기술하고, 자료 속에서 주제를 도출하고 범주화하며, 결과를 도출하는 귀납적 분석을 활용하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 초등학교 예비교사는 초등무용교육은 신체적, 인지적, 정서적, 심미적으로 도움을 주는 전인교육으로 건강한 사람이 될 수 있도록 도움을 준다고 하였다. 초등학교 예비교사는 창작무용, 한국무용에서는 탈춤, 소고춤, 부채춤, 강강술래 등을 알고 있었고, 세계민속무용에서는 티니클링, 훌라춤, 구스타프스콜을 알고 있었으며, 실용무용에서는 스트리트댄스, 방송댄스, 댄스스포츠, 줌바댄스, 라인댄스, K-pop 댄스 등을 알고 있었다. 하지만 초등학교 예비교사, 본인이 할 수 있는 무용은 창작무용, 소고춤, 부채춤, 강강술래, 티니클링, 스트리트댄스, 방송댄스, K-pop 댄스 뿐이라고 답하였다. 초등학교 예비교사는 초등무용교육 지도에 창작무용, 한국무용에서는 소고춤, 탈춤, 강강술래가 필요하고, 세계민속무용에서는 티니클링, 훌라춤이 필요하며, 실용무용에서는 방송댄스, 스트리트댄스, K-pop 댄스가 필요하다고 하였다. 따라서 초등학교 예비교사에게는 다양한 초등무용 경험을 통해 알고 있는 것에서 할 수 있고, 또 직접 지도할 수 있도록 많은 기회가 필요하다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the concept of elementary dance education as taught by elementary school pre-service teachers and to explore possible teaching materials. The research method applied here is a case study that focuses on an individual case and collects, describes, and analyzes its datasets, such as literature and questionnaires. The data collection method employed for this study is a literature study and a questionnaire survey. An inductive analysis was carried out to describe the literature and questionnaire datasets. These research materials were collected through data analysis, derived and categorized themes of the data, and results were derived. The results are as followed: Elementary school pre-service teachers are in unison about the view that elementary dance education is an important part of holistic education as it helps in the practitioners’ physical, cognitive, emotional, and aesthetic development. Apart from general creative dance, the elementary school pre-service teachers are trained in various Korean dance forms, especially Mask dance, Sogo dance, Fan dance, Ganggangsullae, etc.; World Folk dance styles, such as Tinikling, Hula, and Gustaf's, and practical dance styles found in Street dance, Broadcast dance, Dancesport, Zumba dance, Line dance, and K-pop dance. However, elementary school pre-service teachers answered that the only dances they could teach were creative dance, Sogo dance, Fan dance, Ganggangsullae, Tinikling, street dance, broadcast dance, and K-pop dance. The study also revealed that in spite of the teachers’ willingness to impart the elementary dance education, not enough opportunities exist for them to teach these dance forms, especially the mask dance and hula dance. The absence of standardized teaching material could be an important reason for this irregularity.
