영문 초록

Purpose: Narrative basically allows users to achieve its early stage cure purpose, as soon as it starts to talk and make people talk. But all the visiting clients may want to have stunning and rare cure effects from the beginning. So, counselors are urged to employ top-notch skills. The effective way arriving there is IBMM (Image-Based Mindfulness Meditation). It unravels what clients cannot tell to others as innermost sediments at the bottom of their heart and resolves those sediments straightforwardly. Methods: This study organized the four phases of the Four Noble Truths, the core of Buddhism, using narrative. Results: Over the course of the four phases as above, narrative IBMM was able to describe and grasp the whole situation via the client's storytelling. Conclusion: Emotion of fear or dread is shared by 90% of people around the world out of their five common emotions (Prof Hwang Ok-jam, at 1st Workshop for Emotion Coaching Experts, 2016). Emotion of fear or dread is to occur when people, feeling a dangerous or threatening situation, don't know how to avoid and deal with it, and fear is known to steal in when they don't know the cause of it. Of course like previous research, appropriate counseling intervention may be needed to all the elderly women who experienced fear or dread. The problem here, however, is that many elderly women won't talk so easily about their stories of innermost fear and dread covered throughout their lives. This study might have implications for that meditation counseling healed the client of emotions of fear and dread. Its limit is, though, the number of the client - being one elderly woman - and so, the study sincerely believes, there should be continuous attention to mediation counseling and support for successive programs along with further research.
