국문 초록

본 연구는 자폐스펙트럼장애와 명시화되지 않은 우울장애(Unspecified Depressive Disorder) 진단과 주의력결핍 과잉행동장애(Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder) 소견을 받은 성인 여성의 미술치료를 통한 경험과 의미를 심층적으로 이해하고 치료적 대안으로 미술치료의 가능성을 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구는 단일사례 연구로 주1~2회, 회기당 90분씩 총 23회기 미술치료 프로그램과 미술치료 종료 3개월 후, 8개월 후, 2회의 후속 연구 자료를 바탕으로 질적 분석하였으며, 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구참여자의 미술치료 경험으로는 ‘파편화된 과거의 감정과 기억의 표출’, ‘과거의 정신적 증상 재현’, ‘파편화된 기억을 연결’, ‘내면의 갈등 직면과내면의 대화’, ‘창의성을 활용한 갈등 해결과 성취감’, ‘긍정적인 내적 자원의 안착’, ‘새로운 세계로 진입과 결심’, ‘미해결 상처의 표출과 자립 의지 확립’, ‘과거와 통합된 현재를 그림’이라는 9개의 경험이 도출되었다. 둘째, 연구참여자에게 미술치료의 의미는 ‘자기 이해’, ‘직면과 방향모색’, ‘방향 전환과 중심 이동’, ‘심리적 균형 성취’, ‘의식의 상승’, ‘삶 속에서 느리게 성장’이라는 6개의 의미가 도출되었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study was about an a Female adult who diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Unspecified Depressive Disorder, and Attention Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder. The researcher tried to deeply understand and explore the possibility of art therapy as a therapeutic alternative. This study, as a single case study, conducted a total of 23 sessions, 90 minutes once or twice a week, and executed two follow-up studies, after 3 months and 8 months of art therapy based on qualitative analysis. The analysis results were as follows. First, the nine major themes from the art therapy experience were as follows: ‘the expression of fragmented past emotions and memories,’ ‘the reproduction of the psychiatric symptoms of the past,’ ‘connecting fragmented memories,’ ‘facing inner conflicts and inner dialogue,’ ‘conflict resolution using creativity and the sense of accomplishment,’ ‘settling positive internal resources,’ ‘entering a new world and making decisions,’ ‘the expression of unresolved wounds and the establishment of self-reliance,’ and ‘visualizing the present integrated with the past.’ Second, 6 meaning units were derived from the meaning of the art therapy: ‘self-understanding,’ ‘facing and direction-seeking,’ ‘direction change and center shift,’ ‘the achievement of psychological balance,’ ‘the rise of consciousness,’ and ‘growing slowly in life.’ Based on these research results, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
