국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 Chat GPT를 수업 상황에서 실제로 활용한 이후, 대학생들의 자기주도학습 역량과 인식에 어떠한 변화가 나타났는지를 살펴보는 것이다. 경기 소재 K대학의 학생 33명을 대상으로 사전-사후 설문을 시행하고, 사용자들의 Chat GPT 경험 이후의 인식 및 역량의 변화를 분석 및 검증하였다. 연구 결과, Chat GPT 활용 및 도입 시기에 대한 대학생들의 인식은 사용경험 이후 긍정적으로 바뀌었고, 통계적으로도 유의미하였다. 반면 학습자의 자기주도학습 역량 변화는 통계적으로 유의미하지 않았으며, 역량의 평균만 소폭 상승하였다. 사전-사후 개방형 설문 결과, 사전에는 신뢰성과 타당성 검증의 부족 및 부정적 영향의 가능성 때문에 인공지능의 활용에 반대하는 의견이 있었고, Chat GPT의 교육적 활용에 대한 의견이 다양하게 나타났다. 그러나 사후에는 활용 및 도입에 대한 부정적 의견이 사라지고, 정보 제공과 편리성 등으로 인해 적극적 활용 및 도입을 주장하는 의견이 증가하였다. 사전에는 인공지능의 안정성이나 효과성에 관한 확인이 필요하므로 상황을 지켜보며 적용해야 한다는 의견이 지배적이었으나, 사후에는 시대적 흐름과 변화에 대응하기 위해 적극적으로 활용해야 한다는 주장이 증가하여 학습자의 인식이 긍정적으로 변화한 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 Chat GPT의 교육적 활용 가능성과 시사점을 도출하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the students’ changes of their perceptions and self-directed learning competencies as a result of after applying Chat GPT program to classes. A pre-post survey was conducted with 33 students from K University in Gyeonggi Province and the changes in users' perceptions and competencies were analyzed and verified. As a result of this study, college students who used Chat GPT's perception of the use and introduction of generative AI changed more positively than before, and it was statistically significant. Students’ perceptions that regarding opinions for and against the using AI and the right time to use has changed more positively than pre-survey, Their self-directed learning competencies was not statistically significant but, it was confirmed that the competency average increased. As a result of the pre-post open-ended questions, there were opinions against the use of artificial intelligence due to the lack of reliability and validity verification and the possibility of negative effects in advance. There were various opinions about the educational use of Chat GPT and no negative opinions on utilization and introduction in the post-survey results. On the other hand, due to the provision of information and convenience, the active use of artificial intelligence has been advocated. In the open-ended questions of pre-survey the dominant opinion was that it should be applied while watching the situation because it is necessary to confirm the stability or effectiveness of artificial intelligence. However, in the results of the open-ended questions of post survey, there was an increase in the claim that it should be actively used to respond to the trend and change of the times. That is, it was confirmed that the learner's perception changed positively. Empirical verification can be done based on experience of use in actual educational settings.
