IB CAS가 창의적 체험활동의편성·운영에 주는 시사점 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구는 기존의 창의적 체험활동 편성·운영에서 나타난 문제점에 주목하고 2022 개정 교육과정의 적용을 앞두고 있는 시점에서 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 창의적 체험활동의 편성·운영의 시사점을 제안하는 것에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 신토피컬 리딩 방식으로 IB CAS와 창의적 체험활동 관련 문헌을 분석하여 교과 외 활동, 체험 중심 활동, 학생 중심 교육과정이라는 유사점을 제시하였다. 동시에 교과 외 활동의 실제적인 지위, 학생 활동의 지속성 여부, 학생의 참여 정도에서의 차이점을 제시하였다. 이러한 유사점과 차이점을 토대로 연구의 결과, 창의적 체험활동의 본질적 목적에 대한 인식 제고, 교육과정 상에서 창의적 체험활동의 지위 확보, 고유의 프로그램 개발 및 실행의 지속성 확보, 구조 개선을 통한 학생 중심 교육의 실현, 창의적 체험활동 프로그램의 실행 단계 마련의 5가지 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to draw attention to the problems that have emerged in the operation of existing creative experiential activities and to propose implications for the organization and implementation of creative experiential activities as a way to solve them in the run-up to the implementation of the 2022 revised curriculum. To this end, this study analyzed the literature on IB CAS and creative experiential activities using a syntopical reading method to show the similarities between them as extracurricular activities, experience-based activities, and student-centered curriculum. At the same time, it showed differences in the actual status of extra-curricular activities, the continuity of student activities, and the degree of student participation. Based on these similarities and differences, the results of the study suggest raising awareness of the essential purpose of creative experiential activities, securing the status of creative experiential activities, securing the continuity of developing and implementing unique programs, realizing student-centered education through structural improvements, and preparing steps for implementing creative experiential activities programs.
