농촌 다문화가족 한국인 남편의 문화적응 스트레스와 생활 갈등의 관계에서 사회적 지지의 매개효과

국문 초록

이 연구는 농촌 다문화가족 한국인 남편의 문화적응 스트레스와 생활 갈등이 어떤 관계가 있는지 탐색하고, 그 관계를 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 통해 검증하였다. 빈도분석, Pearson의 적률상관분석과 중다회귀분석으로 처리한 결과, 농촌 다문화가족 한국인 남편의 문화적응 스트레스와 사회적 지지는 유의한 부적 상관을 보였고, 문화적응 스트레스와 생활 갈등은 유의한 정적 상관을 나타냈다. 문화적응 스트레스는 사회적 지지와 생활 갈등에 영향력이 있는 변인으로 나타났다. Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 위계적 회귀분석에 따른 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 문화적응 스트레스가 생활 갈등에 미치는 영향에서 사회적 지지가 부분 매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 다문화가족 한국인 남편의 문화적응 스트레스는 생활 갈등과 긴밀한 관계를 나타냈고, 남편의 문화적응 스트레스와 생활 갈등 사이에 사회적 지지의 매개효과를 확인하였으며, 따라서 농촌 다문화가족 한국인 남편의 생활 갈등을 줄이기 위해 한국인 남편을 위한 다양한 사회적 지지를 확보하는 일이 필요하다고 보았다.

영문 초록

The purposes of this study were to investigate the correlation of acculturative stress in the husbands of the multicultural families in rural areas with family conflict and community conflict and examine the mediating effects of social support. The major findings were as follows. First, acculturative stress was negatively correlated with social support but positively correlated with family and community conflict. Social support was negatively correlated with family and community conflict. Second, acculturative stress influenced negatively on social support but positively affected family and community conflict. According to Baron and Kenny’s (1986) method of mediating effects test, social support partially mediated the relationship between acculturative stress and family and community conflict. In conclusion, it is important to develop special education programs for husbands of the multicultural families in rural areas in order to reduce family and community conflict as well as acculturative stress. Finally we discussed the limitations and suggestions for the future research.
