유아교사가 하루 중 가장 많이 하는 말 분석 연구: 만 5세반을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교사가 하루 중 가장 많이 하는 말을 조사함으로써 교사가 하는 말의 실태를 분석하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 D시에 소재한 유치원 교사 18명이 하루일과 동안 하는 말을 관찰, 수집하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 유아 교사가 하루 중 가장 많이 하는 말의 범주는 기본생활습관, 인지행동, 정서, 기타로 볼 수 있었고 이 중, 기본생활습관과 인지행동이 전체의 87%를 차지하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교사가 많이 하는 말의 유형은 긍정적인 말, 부정적인 말, 중립적인 말로 구분할 수 있었으며 긍정적인 말이 63%로 가장 많았다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 유아교사의 말이 기본생활습관과 인지행동 측면에 치우쳐 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 언어 훈련 프로그램 등 실제적으로 도움이 될 만한 방법과 전략을 모색함으로써 교사가 유아의 전인발달을 자극할 수 있도록 지원할 필요가있다.

영문 초록

This study was to explored early childhood teachers' talks during a daily routine to figure out their linguistic habits. For this, Data were collected from 18 kindergarten teachers in D city. Their classroom speeches were observed all day long. The results of this study were as followings : First, the categories of the teacher talk were divided into basic life habit, cognitive behavior, emotion and others. Especially, basic life habit and cognitive behavior were responsible for 87% of cases. Second, the types of teacher talk were divided into positivity, negativity and neutrality. 63% of teachers had positive talks with children. This study recognizes the actual conditions by analyzing the use of teacher talk in classrooms. The main problem was that teachers almost did not use various classroom speech to stimulate well-rounded development for children. So, there is a need of support for teachers to help them aware themselves as a effective speaker. Training program the helps teacher can have better communication should be practiced so that teachers can be prepared in interaction with children.
