쌍둥이 자녀를 둔 어머니의 양육효능감을 위한 미술치료 질적 사례 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 쌍둥이 자녀를 둔 어머니가 양육효능감을 위한 미술치료를 통해 어떠한 경험을 하고, 그 경험의 의미가 무엇인지 알아보고자 하였다. 연구 참여자는 6세 이란성 남아 쌍둥이의 어머니로, 2022년 5월 26일부터 9월 8일까지 주 1회 90분간 총 12회기의 미술치료를 실시하였다. 자료 수집은 미술치료 회기들의 녹음파일과 축어록, 심층 면담, 회기별 작업 과정 및 작품 사진, 연구자의 관찰일지들이며, 이 자료들은 회기별 분석과 반복적 비교분석법을 활용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 연구 참여자는 미술작업을 통해 쌍둥이 양육으로 소진된 자신의 감정과 느낌을 이미지화 하고 표현함으로써 자기이해를 하게 되었다. 둘째, 쌍둥이 양육과정에서 경험한 다양한 감정들을 미술 안에서 표출하여 감정을 정화하고 수용함으로써 정서적 안정감을 가지게 되었다. 셋째, 미술작업 과정에서 자신의 양육태도를 점검하고 자신의 양육 자원과 강점을 찾음으로써 자신감을 가지는 변화의 동기가 되었다. 넷째, 작품을 완성하는 과정에서 변화된 자신을 인식하고 결과물을 통해 성취감과 만족감을 획득하면서 긍정적인 자기개념을 형성하였다. 따라서 양육효능감을 위한 미술치료는 쌍둥이 자녀를 둔 어머니가 쌍둥이 양육에 대한 감정과 사고의 전환을 통해 건강하고 안정적인 양육자로서의 성장을 이루게 하였다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study finds out the experiences and the meaning of a mother of twin children through art therapy for parent efficacy. The research participant is a mother of 6-year-old fraternal twins and received a total of 12 art therapy sessions for 90 minutes once a week from May 26 to September 8, 2022. The data consisted of recorded files and verbatim transcripts, in-depth interviews, photos of work process and the researcher's observation diary. These data were analyzed using session-by-session analysis and iterative comparative analysis. The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, the participants came to understand themselves by imaging and expressing their feelings and emotions exhausted by raising twins through art work. Second, they have a sense of emotional stability through purifying and accepting emotions by expressing emotions experienced in the raising of twins in art, Third, during the art work, the participant found a motivation for change to have a confidence by examining one's parenting attitude, resources and strengths. Fourth, in the process of the work, they recognized themselves changed and through the results, formed a positive self-concept while acquiring a sense of achievement and satisfaction. Therefore, art therapy for parenting efficacy enabled mothers with twin children to grow as healthy and stable caregivers through a change in their feelings and thoughts about raising twins. Based on these research results, the significance and limitations of this study were discussed.
