순회교육 관련 다양한 교육 주체들의 순회교육 인식 및 바람직한 운영 방안 연구

국문 초록

이 연구는 순회교육 관련 다양한 교육 주체들로부터 현재의 순회교육에 관한 인식과 앞으로 바람직한 운영 방안에 관한 의견을 분석하여 통합교육 지원 순회교육으로부터 분리교육 환경인 가정 및 시설 순회교육에 이르기까지 전반적 관점에서 순회교육 운영 방안에 대한 시사점을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 학교급별 일반교사와 특수교사, 학교 관리자 등 다양한 교육 주체들을 대상으로 개별 심층 면담을 통해 의견을 수집하였다. 그 결과 현재 순회교육 운영은 다소 양적, 질적으로 부족하고 전체 학교 교육 운영과 분절적으로 인식되고 있었다. 또한 교사의 역할 수행에서도 상황에 따라 다양한 역할을 맡고 있음에도 더 많은 기대로 인한 어려움도 함께 있는 것이 확인되었다. 그 밖에 분절적 운영으로 인한 한계점으로써 역기능에 대한 우려, 실행 상의 어려움 등을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 제한점을 개선하기 위해 순회교육대상자의 선정 기준이 분명해지고 통합교육 지원부터 가정 및 시설 순회교육까지 체계적인 순회교육 운영 형태가 개발되는 등 지속적인 순회교육 실행 기반이 마련되어야 하며, 순회교사의 전문성을 확보하고 순회교사와 다른 교사 간 협력을 강화하는 방안이 마련되어야 함이 제안되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the opinions of various educational actors involved in itinerant education regarding their perceptions of current itinerant education and desirable future operations, and to suggest implications for itinerant education operations from an overall perspective, ranging from itinerant education in support of integrated education to itinerant education at home and facilities in segregated education settings. For this purpose, opinions were collected through individual in-depth interviews with various educational actors such as general and special education teachers and school administrators at each school level. As a result, it was found that the current itinerant education operation is somewhat lacking in quantity and quality and is perceived as segmented from the overall school education operation. In addition, it was also confirmed that teachers have difficulties in fulfilling their roles due to more expectations, even though they have various roles depending on the situation. Other limitations of the segmented operation included concerns about dysfunction and difficulties in implementation. In order to improve these limitations, it was suggested that a foundation should be laid for the continuous implementation of itinerant education, such as clarifying the criteria for selecting students for itinerant education and developing a systematic form of itinerant education operation, ranging from inclusive education support to home and facility itinerant education, and that measures should be taken to secure the expertise of itinerant teachers and strengthen cooperation between itinerant teachers and other teachers.
