서울시 고등학생의 진로진학컨설팅 사교육 참여 관련 변인

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 서울특별시 고등학생을 대상으로 대학 입학과 관련한 진로진학컨설팅 사교육의 이용 현황을 파악하고, 이용 여부에 영향을 미치는 관련 변인을 탐색하는 데 있었다. 이를 위해 서울시의 25개 자치구에서 총 3,507명의 고등학생을 대상으로 진로진학컨설팅 관련 내용을 설문 조사한 자료를 분석하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서울시 고등학생 중 약 11.3%가 진로진학컨설팅 사교육을 이용하였고, 학년이 높아질수록 진로진학컨설팅 사교육 이용률이 높아졌다(1학년 6.6%, 2학년 9.1%, 3학년 21.6%). 둘째, 고등학생의 학년, 아버지 학력, 가구 소득, 진로진학컨설팅 사교육 요구도, 지자체 제공 진로진학컨설팅 이용 여부, 진로의사결정 능력 수준이 높아질수록 진로진학컨설팅 사교육을 이용할 확률을 높였다. 이와 반면에 고등학생이 학교 진로교육의 도움도를 높게 인식할수록 진로진학컨설팅 사교육의 이용률은 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. 이러한 연구 결과를 토대로 후속 연구와 고등학생 대상의 진로교육 및 진학지도에 관해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the current status of participation in career and college admission consulting through private education institutes for high school students in Seoul, and to explore related variables that affect whether or not to participate it. The researcher analyzed data from a survey of 3,507 high school students in 25 autonomous districts of Seoul on the content of career and college admissions consulting. The main results of this study are as follows. First, about 11.3% of high school students in Seoul participated career and college admission consulting by private education institutes, and the higher the grade, the higher the participation of career and college admission counseling by private education institutions (first year 6.6%, second year 9.1%, third year 21.6%). Second, the higher the grade of high school students, father's educational background, household income, the demand for career and college admission consulting by private education institutes, whether or not to participate local government’s career and college admission consulting, and the higher the level of career decision-making ability, the probability of using career and college admission consulting by private education institutes increased. However, the higher the recognition of the help of school career education, the lower the rate of use of career and college admission consulting by private education institutes. Based on the results of this study, follow-up studies and suggestions were made on career education and guidance for high school students.
