청각장애아의 의사소통에 관한 국내 문헌 고찰

국문 초록

이 연구는 국내 청각장애아의 의사소통과 관련된 논문의 내용을 분석하여 전반적인 연구 동향을 알아보는 데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 2006년부터 2021년 사이에 발간된 국내 등재 학술지 중에서 청각장애아의 의사소통과 관련된 논문 40편을 선정하였다. 연구 목적에 따라 대상 논문의 연구 방법(연구 대상자, 연구 유형), 연구 주제(변인), 연구 결과의 내용을 분석하였다. 연구 방법 중 연구 대상자는 초등학령기 청각장애아동이 가장 많았다. 연구 유형은 실험연구가 가장 많았으며, 사례연구와 질적연구가 포함된 문화기술적 연구는 많지 않은 것으로 분석됐다. 대상 논문의 주제와 관련된 변인으로는 가족지원 형태인 가정 중재, 부모교육과 관련된 연구가 많았으며, 연구 결과는 청각장애아의 의사소통 기술 향상에 관심을 가진 논문들이 많은 것으로 분석됐다. 연구 결과를 토대로 향후 청각장애아의 의사소통 기술 향상을 위한 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to find out the overall research trend by analyzing the content of studies related to communication in children with hearing impairment in Korea. For this study, 40 papers related to communication of children with hearing impairment were selected among domestic academic journals published between 2006 and 2021. The research methods(research subjects, research types), research topics(variables) and research results of related papers were analyzed according to the research purpose. The research results are as follows. As for the research methods, the study subjects were mostly children with hearing impairment in elementary school age, and there were not many studies on infants and toddlers with hearing impairment and their families including parents who mediate early communication. As for the type of research, experimental studies were the most common, and there were not many cultural and technical studies that included case studies and qualitative studies. As for the variables related to the characteristics of the subject of the target studies, there were many studies related to family intervention, which is a form of family support, and parent education. As for the effect of intervention and research purpose, it was found that there were many papers that are interested in improving communication skills of children with hearing impairment rather than improving expressive language through receptive language or spoken language.
