초등학생의 생태소양 함양을 위한 사운드스케이프 융합예술 교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용

국문 초록

생태 위기라는 전지구적으로 중대한 문제에 처해있는 현재, 인간 중심의 관점에서 벗어나 생태의 관점에서 문제를 바라보고 해결할 수 있는 생태소양 함양 교육이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 초등학교 6학년 학생들을 대상으로, 사운드스케이프 기반융합예술 교육 프로그램을 개발하고 적용하였다. 연구 내용으로, 프랑스의 과학인문학자이자 정치생태학자인 브뤼노 라투르의 행위자-연결망 이론(Actor-Network Theory)과 생태소양의 개념을 탐색하여 생태 소양의 영역을 생태적 지식과 이해, 생태적 사고와 실천, 생태적 가치관과 생태감수성으로 설정하고 각 영역의 내용 요소를 도출하였다. 그리고 생태 융합예술의 학습 내용을 구성하기 위해 사운드스케이프를 도입하였으며, 미술과 음악을 중심으로, 과학, 국어, 실과 교과를 융합하여 총15차의 사운드스케이프 기반 융합예술교육 프로그램을 개발하였다. 프로그램의 적용 결과로서, 첫째, 학생들은 비인간 행위자의 존재론적 의미를 새롭게 인식하고 생태에 대한 개념을 습득했으며, 둘째, 학생들은 소리의 시각화와 분석을 통해서 비인간 행위자의 역할을 알게 됨으로써 그들을 주체로 바라보는 시각이 형성되었고 시스템적 사고를 활성화하여 생태 문제를 다각적으로 분석하는 실행 역량이 형성되었으며, 셋째, 인간과 비인간의 상호연계적인 관계성을 공감하고 이를 세심하게 고려하는 태도가 형성되었다.

영문 초록

As we are facing a global problem of ecological crisis, it is necessary to develop eco-literacy education that can look at and solve problems from an ecological point of view, away from the human-centered point of view. In this study, a soundscape-based convergence arts education program was developed and applied for elementary school 6th graders. For the contents of the study, by exploring the Actor-Network Theory of Bruno Latour, a French scientific humanist and political ecologist, and the concept of eco-literacy, the areas of eco-literacy could be set in terms of ecological knowledge and understanding, ecological thinking and practice, and ecological values and sensibility, and the content elements of each area were derived. Furthermore, soundscape was introduced to compose the learning contents of ecological convergence arts program, and a total of 15 soundscape-based convergence arts education learning and practices were developed by convergence of science, Korean, and practical course subject, focusing on visual art and music. As a result of the application of the program, first, students newly recognized the ontological meaning of non-human actors and acquired the concept of ecology. Second, students could form the perspective of seeing non-human actors as active subjects by realizing their the roles through analysis of sound and visualization, and the ability to analyze ecological problems from various angles was formed by activating systemic thinking. Third, an attitude that empathizes with the interconnected relationship between human actors and non-human actors and considers them meticulously was formed.
