공동체와 이념, 가치, 종교성의 의미

국문 초록

사회는 언제나 위기가 있어 왔다. 완전한 사회는 존재하지 않는다. 존재론적으로 현실적으로 자명하다. 그래서 현실 세계에 대한 대안으로서 공동체는 삶의 방식과 일상생활의 대안을 의미한다. 현대사회의 위기는 곧 개인주의의 위기다. 개인에 대한 찬양은 이미 한계에 도달한 현대사회의 모습을 드러내고 있다. 결국 대안의 하나로 공동체는 의미를 가질 수밖에 없다. 공동체에서 이념은 다른 집단과 구별뿐만 아니라, 내부 집단의 정체성과 유대감을 규정한다. 이러한 점에서 종교는 언제나 공동체의 이념과 가치와 함께 해왔다. 종교, 종교성과 공동체간의 관계는 4가지로 정리될 수 있다. 첫째, 종교, 종교성은 사회적 연대의 역할을 담당한다. 같은 생각을 공유한다는 것은 공동체의 출발점이다. 둘째, 종교, 종교성은 사회집단, 공동체의 목표를 명확히 한다. 목표는 가치와의 연결됨으로써 목적합리성의 한계에서 벗어날 수 있다. 셋째, 종교, 종교성은 일상의 규정과 일상생활의 기준이 된다. 일상을 규정하는 것은 이념과 가치에서 시작된다. 넷째, 종교, 종교성은 의례로서 역할을 담당한다. 의례는 의식주, 여가와 같은 일상을 공유하는 매개체이다. 대안공동체는 유토피아를 지향한다. 이념, 가치, 종교성은 미래에 대한 꿈을 제공해준다. 그래서 언제나 실천과 연결될 수밖에 없다. 현실과 연결된다. 꿈은 그래서 현실이며 대안이다.

영문 초록

There have always been crises in societies. Never exists a complete society. This is explicit in ontology and in reality. Therefore, a community as an alternative to a real world means the alternative to how to live a life and how to live everyday lives. The crisis of modern society is the crisis of individualism. Praise for an individual person reveals the reflection of modern society that has already touched its limitation. After all, a community can not help but have a meaning as an alternative. The idea in a community not only distinguishes it from other groups but also defines the identity and solidarity of inner group. In this respect, religions have always been around together with the idea and value of communities. The relationship among religions, religiosities, and communities could be arranged in four ways. First, religions and religiosities take charge of the role of social bond, Sharing homeogenous thoughts is the starting point of a community. Second, religions and religiosities clarify the objective of social group, a community. Objectives could be free from the limitation of rationality by engaging values. Third, religions and religiosities could be the code of daily lives and the norm of daily lives. To define daily lives starts from ideas and values. Fourth, religions and religiosities are in charge of the role of rituals. Rituals are media for sharing everyday lives such as food, clothing, shelter and leisure. Alternative communities pursue utopia. Ideas, values, and religiosities provide dreams for future. Accordingly, they always have no choice but to be related with practice. They are connected to reality. Dreams, naturally, are realities and alternatives.
