국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 COVID-19 상황에 입학한 대학생이 회복탄력성 증진을 위한 미술치료를 통해 어떠한 경험을 하고, 그경험의 의미가 무엇인지 살펴보는 데 있다. 이를 위해 2020년도에 대학에 입학해 재학 중인 여성을 참여자로 선정하고, 질적 사례 연구 방법을 적용해 탐구하였다. 사례는 2022년 3월 5일부터 3월 25일까지 주 2~3회, 90분씩 총 8회기의 미술 치료로 실시되었으며, 이를 바탕으로 한 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 참여자는 미술치료를 통해 자신의 부정적 감정과 스트레스, 욕구를 이미지로 명료화함으로써 정서적 환기와 자기 이해를 경험하면서 자기조절능력이 강화되었다. 둘째, 미술치료는 참여자의 객관적 사고를 도와 긍정적 자아상 획득을 이끌었으며, 문제 상황 대처 방법 변화의 의지를 갖게 하였다. 셋째, 참여자는 미술치료에서 경험한 긍정적 사고를 확장해 문제 상황에 대처할 수 있다는 자신감을 갖게 되었으며 일상 전반에 긍정성 향상을 이룰 수 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study is to examine what is experienced in the art therapy process by a college student who has entered the university in a COVID-19 situation and the meaning of the experience. A woman who entered and is attending the university in 2020 was chosen to participate and a qualitative case study method was used. The case was conducted for a total of 8 sessions from March 5 to March 25, 2022, 2~3 times a week, 90 minutes per session. The results of this study are first, through the art therapy, the participant experienced emotional awakening and self-understanding by expressing and clarifying negative emotions, stress, and needs through images, and her self-regulation ability was strengthened. Second, the art therapy helped the participant with objective thinking, leading her to obtain a positive self-image, and it made her willing to change how to deal with the problem. Lastly, the participant gained confidence that she could deal with problems by expanding the positive thinking she experienced in the art therapy and was able to improve positivity throughout her daily life.
