국문 초록

본 연구는 이공계 대학원생의 핵심역량 진단도구를 개발하고 대학원생들이 이를 활용하여 자신의 역량 수준을 점검할 수 있도록 진단결과리포트와 역량개발가이드를 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 특히 연구활동에 집중하는 대학원생들이 진단도구를 통해 필요 역량을 스스로 인지하여 핵심역량으로 개발할 수 있도록 부족한 역량의 개발 방법을 포함한 맞춤형 진단결과리포트 제공을 목표로 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 종합적으로 고찰하였고 대학원생과 교수진 인터뷰를 거쳐 이공계 대학원생의 핵심역량을 설명하는 구성개념을 규명하였다. 이를 바탕으로 이공계 대학원생의 핵심역량 진단도구를 개발하여 예비검사를 통해 타당성을 검증하였다. 핵심역량의 구성개념인 하위역량을 절차적으로 규명한 후 하위역량별 키워드를 중심으로 진단문항을 도출하였다. 다음으로 교육전문가와 이공계 분야 교수진을 통해 진단문항의 내용타당성을 확보하였으며 222명의 대학원생을 대상으로 2차례 예비검사를 실시하였다. 안면타당도 결과 분석과 탐색적 요인분석을 통해 불필요한 문항을 제거하여 구성 타당성을 검증하였고, 최종적으로 확인적 요인분석을 통해 역량모형의 적합성을 검증하였다. 구체적인 연구결과로, 이공계 대학원생의 핵심역량은 6개(창의적기획력, 융합적사고력, 문제해결능력, 상호협업능력, 의사소통능력, 글로벌리더십)로 구성하였고, 각 핵심역량은 각 4개의 하위역량으로 구성하였으며, 진단문항은 85개로 확정하였다. 진단결과리포트 개발은 자신의 필요 역량을 스스로 개발할 수 있도록 지원하는 역량개발가이드를 포함하여 개발하였다. 이들 자료에 대해 예비검사 참여자를 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 실시하여 사용성을 점검하고 수정보완하였다. 이는 타당성을 검증한 진단도구 개발에서 나아가 진단결과 활용을 위한 구체적인 피드백 자료로써 맞춤형 역량개발가이드를 개발했다는 점에서 차별화된 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop core competency diagnosis tool of science and engineering graduate students, and provide diagnosis result report and competency development guide for the graduate students to examine their competency status. In order to attain the above purpose, previous studies were analyzed and graduate students and professors were interviewed to realize component concepts that explain the core competencies of science and engineering graduate students. Based on the concepts, core competency diagnosis tool was developed, and the validity of the diagnosis tool was verified through preliminary tests. After defining sub-competencies and component concepts of core competency, diagnosis statement were derived using keywords of each sub-competency. Validity of the diagnosis statement contents was verified by education experts and professors, and preliminary survey was conducted twice with 222 graduate students as participants. Suitability of competency model was verified through face validity result analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. For science and engineering graduate students, 6 core competencies, 4 sub-competencies per core competency, and 85 competency statements were devised. Diagnosis result report was developed to include competency development guide for supporting self-improvement of necessary competency, and simulations was conducted with preliminary survey participants for inspection and revision. These simulations have distinctive significance in having developed customized competency development guide as detailed feedback materials about the students’ diagnosis result.
