국문 초록

본 연구는 모래놀이 사례 연구로 내담자는 13세 여자 중학생이다. 정서불안으로 여러 종류의 틱 증상을 보였다. 또한 일상생활과 학교생활에서 또래 및 관계문제를 보여왔었다. 본 사례연구는 내담자가 모래놀이치료를 통해 내담자의 자기치유력이 회복과 긍정적 자아상 형성에 어떠한 효과를 보이는지 살피고자 하였다. 또한 모래놀이치료 과정에 내담자가 손을 통한 모래 접촉이 내담자의 정서에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 임상상황에서 살펴보고자 하였다. 사례연구 결과 모래놀이치료의 작업을 통해 틱 증상이 줄어들었으며 학교생활에서도 적응하는 모습을 보였다. 또 한 손을 통한 모래 접촉은 내담자의 긴장을 완화시키는 모습을 보였으며 감정의 전환을 갖고 왔다. 이를 통해 모래놀이치료가 내담자의 자기치유력을 회복하는데 도움이 되며, 긍정적인 자아상이 형성되어 갈 수 있도록 도움을 주는 효과가 있음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

This is a sandplay therapy case study with a 13-year old female middle school student. She had emotional anxiety and displayed various symptoms of tics. Additionally, she experienced peer and other relationship problems in everyday life and at school. The present study aimed to investigate the effect of the client s self-healing ability on her recovery, and the formation of a positive self-image through sandplay therapy. Another purpose of the study was to examine how touch between hands and sand affects the client s emotions during therapy in a clinical situation. The results revealed that the client exhibited reduced tic symptoms and improved adjustment to school life through sandplay therapy. In addition, touching sand with the hands alleviated the client’s anxiety and changed her emotions. The findings suggest that sandplay therapy helps clients recover through self-healing and develop a positive self-image.
