국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 어머니의 공감능력과 양육태도가 유아의 놀이성에 미치는 영향을 밝히는 것이다. 경기도와 수도권에 거주하는 유아와 그 어머니 388명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 자료를 수집하였고 수집된 자료는 기술통계, Pearson 적률상관계수 산출, 중다회귀분석으로 처리되었다. 연구결과는 첫째, 어머니의 공감능력과 양육태도, 놀이성은 대부분의 하위영역에서 유의미한 정적 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 어머니의 공감능력 중 관점취하기, 공감적 관심, 개인적 고통은 사회적 양육태도에, 상상하기는 가르치는 양육태도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 공감능력이 양육태도에 주는 영향력의 양상이 다르게 나타났다. 셋째, 어머니의 공감능력 중 상상하기는 유아의 놀이성에 정적인 영향력을 갖지만 개인적 고통은 부적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 어머니의 양육태도 관련 변인을 독립변인으로 추가 투입하였을 때 설명력은 증가하였으며 양육태도 중 사회적 양육유형, 가르치는 양육유형, 공감능력에서는 인지영역의 상상하기가 유아의 놀이성에 정적인 영향력을 나타내었다. 본 연구결과를 통해 어머니의 공감능력과 양육태도가 유아의 놀이성에 미치는 직접적인 영향력을 확인하였고, 부모교육프로그램 및 양육지원에 대한 시사점을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to reveal that the impact of mothers empathy and parenting attitude on playfulness. 338 paires of child-mothers in Gyeonggi province and metropolitan area were participated in research through self-report questionnaires. The collected data were processed by descriptive statistics, Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient calculation, multiple regression analysis. Results are as follows. First, the mothers empathy, parenting attitude and children s playfulness showed a significant positive correlation. Second, mothers taking perspective, empathic interest and personal pain affected the social parenting attitude, and mothers imagining affected the teaching parenting attitude. Furthermore the aspect of influence in mothers empathy to children s playfulness was shown differently. Third, mothers imagining gave positive effect to children s playfulness, however, mothers personal pain was found to have a negative impact. This result was confirmed that there was a direct impact of mothers empathy and parenting attitude on playfulness, and we proposed some implications for parent education programs and parenting support programs.
