자연에서의 영유아 놀이 관련 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 자연에서의 영유아 놀이 관련 연구들의 최근 동향을 확인하고자 영유아를 대상으로 ‘자연’과 ‘놀이’를 주제어로 한 학술지 논문 37편, 학위논문 165편의 총 202편에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과, 자연에서의 영유아 놀이는 2000년부터 확인되기 시작하여 최근 5년간의 논문이 전체의 절반 이상을 차지했다. 둘째, 연구 주제에 있어 자연놀이와 발달과의 관계를 조사한 연구가 가장 높은 비중을 차지했으며, 자연놀이 행위, 자연놀이 교육과정 및 프로그램 개발, 자연놀이 이해, 자연놀이 환경, 자연놀이 지도와 치료 순서로 확인되었다. 이론 및 동향과 평가 관련 논문은 발견되지 않았다. 셋째, 연구 방법에 있어 유아 대상이 가장 많았으며 그 다음 교사, 문헌, 영아, 부모 순으로 행해졌다. 연구 유형은 양적연구가 가장 높은 비율을 차지했고 결과에 대한 차이검증이 주로 이루어졌다. 주요 연구 결과에 대해 내용 분석을 실시하였다.

영문 초록

To examine research trends on young children s play in nature, the study analyzed 202 articles from 37 academic journal articles and 165 Master/Ph.D. theses obtained through a web search using the key words “nature” and “play” in the Academic Database and Academic Research Information Service web sites. According to the result, young children’s play in nature related research began in 2000 and grew to occupy more than half of the total publication in the past five years. Analyses on the relationship between play in nature and development were most frequent, followed by play behaviors in nature, curriculum and program development for play in nature, understanding of play in nature, environment for play in nature, and therapy based on play in nature. There was no research on the topics of theory, research trend, and evaluation. Popular research targets were children, teacher, literature, infant, and parents in that order. Quantitative studies most frequently employed experimental research to verify the difference between the group with nature play experience and the comparison group. The content of the major research was briefly analyzed.
