국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 품앗이 육아를 통해 부모가 되어가는 과정을 알아보기 위함이다. 이를 위해 품앗이 육아를 하고 있는 2개의 품앗이 13명 어머니의 그룹면담과 7명 어머니의 심층면담을 실시하였으며, 참여관찰을 통한 연구자일지, 품앗이 활동일지를 다각도로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 품앗이 육아를 통해 나타난 부모되어가기 과정은 3가지 범주로 나타났다. 첫째, 공감의 과정으로 품앗이 육아를 통해 부모들은 육아전쟁을 공유하고 불안한 엄마 콤플렉스를 진단하였다. 둘째, 치유의 과정으로 품앗이 육아를 통해 부모들은 사회로부터 고립된 자아의 탈출 기회를 가지게 되었으며 부모라는 직업이 행복하다는 것을 느끼고 있었다. 셋째, 성장의 과정으로 품앗이 육아를 통해 부모들은 실천이 양육의 신념으로 이어지는 삶을 살아가고 있었으며 부모로서 성장해가면서 건강한 부모자녀관계를 형성해 나가고 있었다. 이러한 결과는 품앗이 육아를 통해 나타난 부모되어가기 과정의 경험을 공동체적 삶으로 접근하여 육아의 문제를 지역적 공동체 문화 속에서 해결해나감으로써 부모교육의 방향성 정립을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study aims at studying the process of becoming parents through Pumasi child rearing. Thirteen mothers in two Pumasi who were carrying out Pumasi child rearing were interviewed and seven among them were interviewed in depth; researchers’ daily records and Pumasi journals were analyzed by reviewing them from various angles. As research results, the process of becoming parents through Pumasi child rearing was classified in three categories. The first category was related to the process of consensus, and parents shared parenting through Pumasi child rearing and diagnosed unstable mother complexes. Second, parents had opportunities to attempt self-escapes from society using Pumasi child rearing as the process of healing, and felt the job called parents like happiness. Third, it corresponded to the process of growth, and parents were living a life connected to beliefs from Pumasi child rearing practices, and forming healthy parent-child relationships while developing as parents. These results are expected to be utilized as basic data to establish direction of parenting education by resolving child rearing issues in community culture after experiencing of becoming parents in community life through Pumasi child rearing.
