국문 초록

본 연구는 부모-자녀 관계 향상을 위한 부모교육 프로그램에 참여한 부모의 변화과정을 밝히고자 12명의 어머니로부터 비디오 녹화 전사본, 피드백 회의록, 반구조화 질문지를 통해 자료 수집하고 근거이론으로 코딩했다. 연구 결과 첫째, 중심 현상은 부모의 심리 변화에 대한 자신감 향상, 인과적 조건은 부모교육에 대한 내적 동기, 맥락적 조건은 부모의 내적 동기와 프로그램 성격의 일치도 그리고 자녀의 심리적 변화로부터 부모가 기쁨을 느낌, 중재적 조건은 자녀의 입장에서 생각하며 부모 자신이 문제임을 수용으로 나타났다. 자녀와의 경험에서 부모 자신을 알아차림 그리고 다른 부모와의 경험 공유 인식으로부터 위안과 알아차림을 얻음의 작용/상호작용을 통한 결과는 자녀와의 양방향적 관계를 수용 그리고 자녀의 부모가 되어가려 노력하는 자신에 대한 자신감으로 나타났다. 둘째, 핵심범주인 ‘자녀와의 양방향적 관계를 수용하며 노력해가기’의 유형은 ‘부모․자녀 양방향적 관계 수용형’, ‘자녀 수용형’, ‘부모자녀 갈등형’으로 나타났다. 각 유형에 적합한 개입 방안인 연계적 부모교육 즉 교육통합상담 프로그램 체계를 제안했다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to expand the current understanding of the change process in parents in a parent education program to improve parent-child relationship. Grounded theory was adopted. Data were collected through VCR recording transcription of interviews, a semi-structured questionnaire survey, and action research logs. The major results were as follows. First, phenomenon was improvement of the parent s confidence for one s psychological change; causal condition was the parent s internal motive for parent education; the context was the program orientation conformity to the parent s motive and the parent s joy over their child s psychological change; and intervening condition served as acknowledgement that the parents themselves were the problem from their child s points of view. The action/reaction was the parent s awareness from the experience of parenting with child and taking comfort and awareness from recognizing the experience shared with other parents. Consequence was the parents confidence on their endeavors related to being a parent as well as the accepting the bidirectional relationship between parent and child. Second, core category in the parents change process was “the endeavor with accepting the bidirectional relationship with the child.” The results showed three types of changes: the accepting type of bidirectional relationship between parent and child, the accepting type of child, and the conflicting type of parent and child. The findings of this study suggested that the connected program of education/integration/counseling should be taken into consideration in intervening for each type.
