국문 초록

본 연구는 유아교육기관의 공간 구성에 있어 유아들이 유아교육기관 내에서 유아-사람, 유아-공간, 유아-자연의 소통을 통한 경험에 초점을 맞추었고 소통에 대한 함의점을 중정형(中庭型) 건축물을 통해 찾고자 한다. 이와 더불어 건축공학적, 유아교육학적 의의도 함께 논의하고자 한다. 중정을 통한 유아교육기관 공간구성의 시사점으로는 첫째, 다양한 공간의 의미를 창출하고 둘째, 자연의 본성이 활용된 쾌적한 실내 환경을 조성할 수 있으며 셋째, 유아교육의 본질을 실현할 수 있는 장이 될 수 있다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구의 결론을 도출하면 첫째, 효율성보다 유아가 우선되는 공간 구성이 필요하고 둘째, 자연이라는 훌륭한 에너지를 최대한 활용해야 하며. 셋째, 거주함의 본질이 실천될 수 있는 유아교육기관이 되어야 하는 것으로 마무리 지을 수 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted examine the spatial composition of early childhood education institutions. We focus on the experience of communication in children-children, children-space, children-nature relationship within early childhood education institutions to find out the implications of courtyard architecture in communication. We also discussed the significance of early childhood education and architectural engineering. The suggestion of the implication of spatial composition in early childhood education institutions are: first, it creates meaning for various spaces. Second, it is possible to create a pleasant indoor environment utilizing nature and third, it can be a place to realize the essence of early childhood education. The results of this study indicated that it is necessary to construct a space where children are considered more important than efficiency. The result also suggested making the most of the great energy of nature and being an early childhood education institution where the essence of residence can be practiced.
