한국어 추측 표현의 주관화에 대한 인지적 접근 - 주어 제약을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

이 글은 추측 표현 ‘-겠-’, ‘-ㄹ 것이다’, ‘-ㄹ 것 같다’, ‘-나 보다’의 주어 제약으로 실현되는 주관화를 인지적으로 고찰하는 논문이다. 추측은 일종의 인식 행위로서 언어화될 때 주관성이 그 의미의 밑바탕에 깔려 있다. 인지문법에서는 언어 표현의 의미가 어떤 장면에 대한 개념화자의 해석에 의해 결정되며 그 언어 표현의 문법 구조에 의해 상징화되는 것이라고 본다. 주관화는 장면에 대한 비교적 객관적인 해석에서 더 주관적인 해석으로의 전이를 가리키는 해석 기제로서 여러 문법적 현상에 의해 드러난다. 이에 입각하여 네 개의 추측 표현이 상위 주어와 명제 주어에 받는 제약의 차이로 실현되는 주관화의 차이를 인지적으로 살피고자 한다. 상위 주어와 명제 주어의 제약은 각각 ‘탄도체의 잠재력 약화’에 따른 주관화와 ‘관찰 배열’에 따른 주관화로 설명하고자 한다. 언어 표현에 대한 인지적 접근은 구조·의미 통합적 한국어 문법 교육 내용을 개발하는 데 도움이 될 수 있다.

영문 초록

This article cognitively considers Subjectification reflected in the subject contraint of Korean Speculative Expressions ‘-keyss-’, ‘-l kesita’, ‘-na pota’, ‘-l kes katta’. Speculation is a kind of human cognition activity, and subjectivity forms the foundation of its meaning when it is verbalized. In Cognitive Grammar, the meaning of a language expression is determined by the conceptualizer’s construal of a scene and symbolized by its grammar structure. Subjectification is reflected in several sectors of grammar as an construal mechanism that refers to the transition from a more objective construal of the scene to a more subjective construal. Based on this, the differences in subjectification realized by the differences of subject constaint between the four speculative expressions in the upper subject and propositional subject will be considered cognitively. The constraint of the former and the latter will be explained by subjectification according to the ‘trajetor’s potency weaken’ and subjectification according to the ‘viewing arrangement’, respectively. The cognitive approach to language expressions could be helpful for developing Korean grammar education contents based on the integration of structural and meaning.
