鄭齊斗와 鄒守益의 ‘德福觀’을 중심으로 살펴본 韓·中 陽明學의 정체성과 종교성 탐색

국문 초록

본고는 중국 양명학자 추수익(鄒守益)과 조선 양명학의 거두 정제두(鄭齊斗)의 사상적 특징이 서로 어떠한 ‘연관성’이 있는지 규명하였다. 정제두는 41세에 안산으로 내려와 ‘마음(心)에 대한 정의를 새롭게 시도한다. 그의 학문은 주자학과는 다른 심학으로서, 그에게 ‘마음’이란 󰡔서경󰡕에서 유래한 ‘인심’과 ‘도심’이나, 현실에서 마음을 준거로 행동할 때 ‘마음’이 갖는 보편타당한 이치를 인정하고 있다. 다만 ‘임정종욕(任情縱欲)’으로 기울어질 때 이를 통제할 수 있는 능력과 수양의 필요성을 강조하였다. 바로 이러한 점에서 정제두를 양명 우파에 속하는 학자로 평가하고 있다. 명말의 양명후학은 종교적인 색채를 띠게 되었는데, 그 덕복관(德福觀) 또한 이 색채 속에 포함되어 있으며, 그것은 종교성과 불가분의 관계가 있다. 본문에서는 우선 양명후학 추수익과 정제두의 양명학의 학술적 경향을 밝힌다. 그 다음, 󰡔역󰡕설을 연구 기초로 삼는 추수익과 정제두 사상 체계 가운데 포함된 덕복관을 살펴본다. 마지막으로, 양자의 종교성에 대한 고찰을 진행한다. 즉 본문은 중국 양명우파 추수익과 정제두의 덕복관에 대한 연구를 통하여, 한중 양명학 사상 가운데 존재하는 주체성과 종교성에 대한 탐색을 시도한다.

영문 초록

This study sought to find out what kind of ‘relationship’ they have with each other, focusing on the Yangmingological features of Zou-shou-yi , a Chinese Yangming houxue, and Jeong Je Do. Jeong Je Do s study also emphasizes the philosophy of mind, which is different from the traditional philosophy of Zhuzi xue. His work, which he had been focusing on since he was 41 years old, was to renew his definition of heart. Jeong Je Do’s heart was that he still recognized the universal reason of heart when he acted as a human heart and Dao heart derived from 《Shu》 or as a heart in reality. However, it emphasized the ability to control and the need for discipline when leaning toward renqingzongyu . In this respect, Jeong Je Do s Yang Mingxue are regarded as a scholar belonging to the Yangming rightist. Yangming houxue at the end of Ming Dynasty has a religious color, and ‘views on virtue and blessing’ is also included in this color, which is inseparably related to religious character. First, revealed the academic inclination of Zou Shouyi and Jeong Je Do’s innate knowledge, and secondly, explored the sources of religiousity contained in Jeong Je Do’s thought system based on his 《Yi》 theory, Finally, a review of the religious nature of both is conducted. In other words, the text attempts to explore the subjectivity and religious nature that exist among the Chinese and Korean Yangming xue ideas through research on Zou Shou Yi and Jeong Je Do’s ‘views on virtue and blessing’.
