기독 탈북민의 신앙 경험 속에서 자기 찾기 과정

국문 초록

본 연구는 북한에서 탈북한 후 기독교 신앙을 갖게 된 기독 탈북민이 신앙 경험 속에서 내면의 자기를 찾아가는 과정에 관한 사례연구이다. 특히 Jung과 이후 융학파에서 발전시켜온 연금술의 심리학에서 자기를 찾고 개성화되어가는 과정에 관한 설명을 탈북민의 신앙형성과정의 자기 찾기 과정에 대입하여 분석하는 이론적 틀로 삼았다. 이를 위해 문헌고찰을 통해 기독 탈북민의 신앙발달 과정을 필연적 정황, 믿음의 시작, 슬럼프와 갈등, 하나님과 참된 관계 맺기로 구분하였고, 자기 찾기의 원형인 연금술의 작업 과정 중에서 연금술적 청색, 백화, 흑화, 적화 지향을 각각의 단계에 대입하여 해석하였다. 이를 통해 기독 탈북민이 신앙적 성장과 더불어 온전한 자기(Self)로 건강하게 살아가도록 기독 상담자와 기독교 공동체가 갖추어야 할 자세와 함의를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This case study explores the process of Christian North Korean defectors in which the defectors find their inner Self as they develop their faith since their leaving of North Korea. The explanation of the psychology of Jung’s alchemy on self-finding and individuation process was employed as a theoretical frame to analyze defector’s faith development process. Drawing on literature review, the faith development was defined as a serial process that consists of four stages: inevitable contexts, the beginning of faith, slumps and conflicts, and making true relations with God. For each development stage, each of alchemical blue, albedo, nigredo, and rubedo-oriented stages was applied for interpretation. Implications and suggestions for Christian counselors and Christian communities were presented to support Christian North Korea defectors to maintain a healthy life of sound self and to continue development of faith.
