공격성과 죄책감에서 살아남기

국문 초록

대상관계이론은 인간의 생애초기 관계경험이 개인의 내적 관계와 대인간 관계에 핵심적인 역할을 한다고 본다. 대상관계이론은 Freud의 욕동모델에서 관계모델로 이동하는 초석이 되었던 Klein을 시작으로, Klein의 개념을 실제 양육자와의 관계모델로 보다 확장시킨 Fairbairn, 그리고 역시 환경의 중요성을 강조하면서 동시에 중간대상의 존재를 언급한 Winnicott을 주축으로 하여 크게 발전하였다. 분열, 공격성과 공포, 죄책감, 그리고 회복이라는 주제와 관련한 Klein의 편집불안, Fairbairn의 도덕적 방어, Winnicott의 중간영역 등 이들의 핵심 개념을 비교, 분석, 비판함으로써 대상관계 이론의 윤곽을 드러내고자 했다. 나아가 한 내담자의 사례에서 이러한 분열, 공격성과 공포, 죄책감이 상담에서 드러나는 방식을 엿보고 회복의 방향을 논함으로써, 세 학자의 이론을 보다 깊이 이해하고자 하였다.

영문 초록

The object relations theory considers that the early human relationship experience plays a key role in the interpersonal relationship of the individual. The object relations theory started with Klein, which became the cornerstone of moving from Freud s drive model to the relationship model, and Fairbairn, who expanded Klein s concept into a relationship model with real caregivers, and Winnicott, who also emphasized the importance of the environment and transitional object. This study aimed to reveal the outline of the object relations theory, especially through the theme of splitting, aggression and fear, guilt, and recovery by comparing, analyzing, and criticizing the core concepts of Klein s paranoid anxiety, Fairbairn s moral defense, and Winnicott s intermediate area. Furthermore, it tried to understand the theories of the three scholars more deeply by looking at the case of a client in counseling and discussing the direction of her recovery.
