대학생 취업선호도의 변화와 성별, 구직효능감 간의 구조적 관계: 진로발달의 동시지연효과 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 대학생의 학년 변화에 따른 취업선호도 변화, 이 과정에서의 성별차이와 구직효능감 간의 구조적 관계와 진로발달이 취업선호도에 미치는 동시 및 지연 효과를 분석하는데 있다. 연구 분석을 위하여 한국고용정보원의 청년패널조사(YP) 데이터 중 10~14차 조사 자료를 활용하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 대학생의 취업선호도는 시간의 흐름에 따라 선형적으로 변화하고 있으며, 학년 변화에 따라 취업선호도가 증가하고 있음을 확인하였다. 둘째, 성별은 취업선호도 초기값에 유의한 영향을 주지 않기 때문에 남녀 차이가 없으며, 구직효능감의 경우에도 성별에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 대학교 1학년 때의 취업선호도가 높은 학생들은 4학년 때 구직효능감도 높은 것으로 나타나 취업선호도가 높아질수록 구직효능감도 높아지고 있음을 확인하였다. 넷째, 동일 시점의 진로발달은 취업선호도에 유의한 영향을 미치며, 이전 시점의 진로발달은 이후 시점의 취업선호도에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 연구의 시사점과 한계점을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

In this study, the structural relationship between the change in employment preference, gender and job-seeking efficacy of college students was analyzed. Also, the simultaneous and delayed effects of career development, a time-dependent variable, on changes in employment preference were confirmed. For the analysis, longitudinal data from the 10th to 14th surveys (1st to 4th year college students) among the youth panel survey (YP) data of the Korea Employment Information Service were used. As a result of the analysis, first, it was confirmed that the employment preference of college students changed linearly with the passage of time, and that the employment preference increased according to the change of grade. Second, there was no difference between men and women because gender did not significantly affect the initial value of employment preference, and there was no difference between genders in the case of job-seeking efficacy. Third, it was confirmed that students with high employment preference in their first year of college also had high job-seeking efficacy in their fourth year, and that as their preference for employment increased as their grades went up, their job-seeking efficacy also increased. Fourth, it was found that career development at the same time point had a significant effect on job preference, and career development at the previous time point did not affect job preference at the later time point. Based on the study results, the implications and limitations of the study were presented.
