국문 초록

본 연구는 중년여성의 빈둥지증후군 극복과 자기실현을 위한 모래상자치료 사례연구이다. 중년여성은 폐경, 신체적인 매력의 상실과 자녀를 떠나보내는 과정에서 어머니의 역할이 줄어들면서 느끼는 빈 보금자리에 대한 두려움을 겪게 된다. 본 연구의 대상은 만 52세의 중년여성으로 2020년 5월 10일부터 2020년 10월 25일까지 총 15회기를 진행하였다. 본 연구 참여자는 두 자녀를 군대에 입대시켜야 하는 시점에서 빈둥지에 대한 상실감과 어머니로써 아내로써 역할과 함께 자신의 미래에 대한 막연한 두려움을 호소하였으며 모래상자치료에서 자신을 통찰하고 자기실현의 과정의 경험을 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서 사용한 심리검사는 MMPI검사지와 SCT검사지이다. 중년 여성은 자신을 인식하는 것과 사회적 관계와 가족 안에서의 자신의 한계와 태도를 깨닫는 것과 자신의 욕구와 그 의미를 알아차리며 자신을 돌아보는 것은 인생의 후반을 어떻게 살아갈 것인가에 매우 중요한 요소가 될 것이다

영문 초록

This study is a case study of sandtray therapy for overcoming empty nest syndrome and self-actualization of middle-aged women. A middle-aged woman experiences menopause, a loss of physical attractiveness and the fear of an empty home she feels as her mother s role diminishes in the process of sending her children away. The subject of this study was a 52-year-old middle-aged woman, and 15 sessions were conducted from May 10, 2020 to October 25, 2020. Participants in this study complained of the loss of an empty nest at the time when their two children had to be enlisted in the military, and vague fears about their future as well as the role of mother and wife. looked at The psychological tests used in this study were the MMPI test strip and the SCT test strip. For middle-aged women, recognizing themselves, realizing their limitations and attitudes in social relationships and family, and recognizing their needs and their meanings and looking back on themselves will be very important factors in how to live the second half of life.
