미술치료사의 코로나19 두려움과 무망감 간의 관계: 마음챙김의 매개효과를 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료사를 대상으로 코로나19 두려움과 무망감, 마음챙김의 관계를 살펴보고, 코로나19 두려움과 무망감 사이의 관계를 마음챙김이 매개하는지 검증해보고자 했다. 본 연구의 대상은 85명의 미술치료사들이었고, 이들에게 코로나19 두려움 질문지, Beck 무망감 척도, 마음챙김 주의-자각척도를 실시하였다. 분석 결과, 코로나19 두려움과 무망감은 정적 상관을 보였고, 마음챙김은 코로나19 두려움 및 무망감에 대해 각각 부적상관을 보였다. 위계적 회귀분석 결과, 마음챙김은 코로나19 두려움과 무망감 사이의 관계에서 매개효과를 보이는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 이러한 마음챙김의 효과에 대해서 미술치료와 공유하는 속성으로 탈중심화와 체현에 대해 논의하였고, 본 연구의 의의와 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify the relationship between the fear of COVID-19, hopelessness, and mindfulness among art therapists, and to examine the mediating effect of mindfulness in the relationship between fear of COVID-19 and hopelessness. A total of 85 art therapists participated in the survey. The questionnaires used in the study were the Fear of COVID-19 Scale, the Beck Hopelessness Scale, and the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale. The results showed that fear of COVID-19 was correlated positively with hopelessness, while mindfulness was correlated negatively with fear of COVID-19 and with hopelessness. The results of hierarchical regression analysis indicated that mindfulness mediated the relationship between fear of COVID-19 and hopelessness. Regarding the effect of mindfulness, decentering and embodiment were discussed as attributes shared with art therapy. Lastly, the implications and limitations of this study were discussed.
