자타카를 활용한 안전교육이 유아의 안전문제해결력과 안전태도에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 자타카를 활용한 안전교육이 유아의 안전문제해결력 및 안전태도에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경상북도 G시에 위치한 D유치원의 5세 유아 21명과 비슷한 생활환경인 B유치원 5세 유아 21명으로 총 42명이었다. 본 연구 도구로 안전문제해결사고력 검사(고정완, 2016)와 안전태도 검사(오효선. 2012)를 사용하였다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 신뢰도분석, 기술통계분석, 독립표본 t-test를 실시하였다. 결과적으로 자타카를 활용한 안전교육이 유아의 안전문제해결력과 안전태도를 각각 향상시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 자타카의 교육적 효과를 실증함으로써 유아기 종교교육의 지평을 넓혔다고 볼 수 있으며, 이후 유아교육 현장에서 널리 활용될 필요성을 시사한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of safety education activities based on Buddhist Jatakas for young children on their safety problem-solving ability and safety attitude. Subjects of this study were 5 year old, 42 young children who attended in D kindergarten and B kindergarten in Gyeoungbook-Do, G province. Koh(2016)’ Scale and Oh(2012) Scale were used for this study. Collected data was analyzed by using spss 20.0 program. Reliability analysis, descriptive analysis, t-test were conducted. The results of this study are as follows. First, there were significant effects of safety education activities based on Buddhist Jatakas for young children on their safety problem-solving activities. Second, there were significant effects of safety education activities based on Buddhist Jatakas for young children on their safety attitude as well. In conclusion, it is necessary to encourage developing and using education activities based on Buddhist Jatakas for young children in fields.
