국문 초록

본 연구는 디자인씽킹을 활용한 수업이 예비유아교사의 정서지능 및 창의적 인성에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 J지역에 위치한 A대학 유아교육과 2학년 17명(실험집단), C대학 유아교육과 2학년 16명(비교집단)으로 총 33명이다. 연구도구는 정서지능 및 창의적 인성 도구를 사용하였다. 실험처치는 ｢아동미술｣교과목 수업에서 9주차에 걸쳐 디자인씽킹을 활용한 수업을 진행하였다. 자료수집은 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 사용하여 연구도구의 신뢰도를 분석하였으며, 집단 간 점수 차이를 검증하기 위해 독립표본 t-검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 디자인씽킹을 활용한 수업은 예비유아교사의 정서지능 증진 및 창의적 인성 함양에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구에서 나타난 결과를 토대로 예비유아교사의 정서지능 및 창의적 인성을 강화하는 데 도움이 되는 효율적인 교수법으로서 디자인씽킹 활용 가능성에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of a class utilizing a design thinking method on preservice early childhood teachers’ emotional intelligence and creative personalities. The total number of subjects was 33 students, consisting of 17 sophomores at A University as the experimental group, and 16 sophomores at C University as the comparative group. Survey questionnaires on participants’ emotional intelligence and creative personality were used as research tools for this study. For the experimental group, a class using design thinking was conducted over the course of 9 weeks in the ‘Children’s Art’ Course. For data analysis an independent sample t-test and reliability test were performed using the SPSS 20.0 program. The results of the study found that classes utilizing design thinking approach had a marked positive effect on improving the emotional intelligence of preservice early childhood teachers, as well as cultivating their creative personalities. Results of the study suggest the necessity of applying the design thinking method to college students for strengthening their emotional intelligence and creative personalities and the implication of the continued use of design thinking method as an efficient teaching approach for preservice teachers.
