국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 코로나19로 인해 변화된 임상현장에 대한 미술치료사들의 인식을 살펴보고, 현 상황에 대처하는데 필요한 역량과 윤리의식을 탐색하는 것이다. 국내에서 활동 중인 95명의 미술치료사를 대상으로 2020년 7월부터 2020년 9월까지 온라인 설문조사를 실시했고, 이 중 자발적 참여 의사를 밝힌 7명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 진행했다. 수집된 설문자료는 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 빈도 분석 및 다중반응분석 방법으로 분석했다. 심층 인터뷰 내용은 진술들의 단계적인 의미 단어 분석을 통해 3개의 주제들(⓵ 코로나 19 시대에 치료사로서 경험하는 변화 및 어려움 ⓶ 코로나19 시대 치료사의 역량/임상 환경의 필요성 ⓷ 변화하는 임상 장면에 적용 가능한 새로운 윤리적 지침 및 교육의 필요성)에 포함되는 17개의 의미범주로 도출되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 첫째, 미술치료사들은 코로나19 상황 하 직업 및 임상 상태의 변화를 경험하고 있었고, 치료사 안전 보장에 대한 인식이 증가하고 있었으며, 비대면 미술치료에 대한 기대 및 한계점을 보고했다. 둘째, 미술치료사들은 임상적 변화에 적응하기 위한 치료사의 역량 개발을 제안했다. 셋째, 미술치료사들은 새로운 윤리적 문제들에 대처하기 위한 윤리 교육 시스템의 부재를 호소하며 새로운 윤리 교육의 필요성을 강조했다. 본 연구의 결과들이 코로나19 시대 미술치료사들의 실질적인 임상적 방향성을 제안 할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate the perceptions of coping competence and ethical awareness of art therapists in the era of COVID-19. The participants were students and graduates of art therapy programs in South Korea who are currently working as art therapists. There were 95 survey participants and seven in-depth group interviewees. Quantitative data was collected via online survey from July 2020 to September 2020. An in-depth interview was conducted with those who voluntarily participated. All statistical analyses were conducted using PASW Statistics 18. Qualitative interview data were divided into three themes (a) experience of the therapist, (b) coping competence and capacity of the therapist, and (c) ethical principals and education of the therapist and 17 semantic classes. The results were as follows: First, the subjects of art therapists’ awareness were the changes in their clinical status; their rights toward safety; and experiences and potential problems of virtual art therapy. Second, the topic relating to coping competence was developing capabilities as a therapist under the COVID-19 situation. Third, the themes of ethical issues during the era of COVID-19 were a new ethical responsibility, a lack of education, and ethical principals for new situations. These results will provide guidelines for art therapists in era of the COVID-19 so that they can effectively focus on clinical practice.
