초등교사의 인식과 경험을 통해 본 ‘즐거운 생활’ 교육과정의 운영 실태와 개선방안

국문 초록

‘즐거운 생활’ 교육과정의 운영 실태를 파악하고 개선방안을 제시하고자 통합교과 관련 경험이 풍부한 초등교사를 대상으로 ‘즐거운 생활’ 교육과정의 인식, 수업 경험, 애로점에 대해서 면담하고 분석하였다. 그 결과 교사 인식의 간극은 크지만 교과의 필요성과 학생들의 흥미는 높으며 교사들에게도 자신 있고 즐거운 교과라는 점을 알 수 있었다. 교육과정 및 교과서는 보완이 필요하며 누리과정 및 3-4학년 음악/미술 교과와 보다 체계적인 연계가 필요함을 지적하였다. 수업 계획의 기준은반 아이들이며 수업을 계획하기 위한 큰 틀로서 교육과정을, 교과서는 틀 안을 다채롭게 채우기 위한 도구로 활용하고 있었 다. 수업 실행은 협력 학습과 프로젝트 학습이 주로 활용되었고 주제 학습 지도과정은 효과적인 것으로 나타났으며 평가는 학습을 촉진하기 위한 목적으로 활용되고 있었다. ‘즐거운 생활’ 교과 운영의 애로점은 창의적 표현과 놀이 또는 장난의 경계가 모호하다는 점, 교사마다 성취기준의 해석이 다르다는 점, 통합교과 지도를 위한 연구와 연수가 부족하다는 점이 제시되 었다. 면담 분석 결과에 따라 교육 내용의 측면과 교사 연수의 측면에서의 개선방안을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

This study conducted and analyzed interviews with elementary school teachers about their class experiences and difficulties in order to identify the current practices of the ‘Pleasant Life’ curriculum and to suggest improvement plan. The gap between teacher perceptions was significant, but the need for the subject and students interest was high, and teachers were confident and enjoyed the subject. The curriculum and textbooks needed to be supplemented and more systematic links with Nuri curriculum and music/art curriculum in the 3, 4 grades. The standard for class planning was their students, and the national curriculum was used as a large framework for class planning, and textbooks were used as a tool to fill the framework with various activities. Teaching and Learning methods were mainly used for collaborative learning and project learning, and the topic learning teaching process was shown to be effective, and the evaluation was used for the purpose of promoting learning. The difficulties of the ‘Pleasant Life’ curriculum was that the boundary between creative expression and play was ambiguous, different interpretation of achievement standards among each teacher, and the lack of research and training for integrated curriculum. Based on the results of the interview analysis, improvement plans were proposed in terms of education content and teacher training.
