개인 분석과 명화 모사와 변형 작업을 통한 예비 미술치료사의 내담자 경험: 심리적 저항을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비 미술치료사인 연구자의 내담자 경험에 대한 탐구이다. 연구자는 정신분석가로부터 2017년 11월 14일에서 2018년 3월 13일까지 4개월 동안 총 19회기의 개인 분석을 받으며, 미술 작품으로부터 받을 수 있는 심리적 저항을 경험하기 위해 6개의 명화를 주제로 12개의 모사와 변형 작업을 실시하였다. 연구자는 이러한 개인 분석 과정을 내러티브 연구 방법을 통해 탐구하였고, 내담자 경험이 주는 의미를 다음과 같이 도출할 수 있었다. 첫째, 저항, 그 시작점을 찾아가다, 둘째, 변형 작업을 통해 내담자를 경험하다, 셋째, 심리적 저항과의 공존을 받아들이다. 본 연구는 예비 미술치료사의 내담자 경험을 통해 미술 작품으로부터 받을 수 있는 저항에 대한 이해를 돕고, 예비 미술치료사의 자기 이해를 위한 방법을 제안했다는 점에서 그 의의를 찾을 수 있다. 앞으로 미술치료사들의 내담자 경험을 위한 다양한 방법들이 연구되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to explore experiences of a preliminary art therapist. The study included a total of 19 personal analyses from November 14, 2017, to March 13, 2018, from a psychoanalyst, and 12 instances of copying and 6 instances of transforming masterpieces to experience the psychological resistance that can be received from artworks. This process of personal analysis employed narrative research methods, that allowed for deriving the following meanings from the client’s experiences: first, find the starting point of resistance; second, experience the client through transformations; and third, accept the coexistence of psychological resistance. This study helped provide further understanding of the resistance individuals may receive from art works through the experience of a preliminary art therapist. The study also illustrated a way for preliminary art therapists to better understand themselves. Hopefully, various ways for art therapists to experience the client perspective will be further studied in the future.
