국문 초록

본 연구는 미술교사 교육에서 반성의 개념을 살펴보고 예비교사의 교육실습에서 반성적 사고를 촉진하기 위한 방법으로 반성적 글쓰기를 제안한다. 교육실습에서 반성적 글쓰기는 교육목표에 수반된 각종 전략과 교수 기술에 관한 문제점, 성공적 측면, 학생들과의 상호작용, 예비교사 자신의 지식 등 인지적, 심리적, 사회적인 것까지 모니터링 할 수 있도록 한다. 연구자는 예비교사의 반성적 글쓰기를 통하여 미술교육의 현황, 문제점을 질적 연구 방법으로 살펴보았다. 본 연구에 참가한 예비교사들은 교육실습에서 미술교육에 대한 관점을 반성적 글쓰기를 통해 미술교육에 관한 관점, 학교 현장에서 요구되는 미술교사에 대한 기대, 학생과의 상호작용을 통한 수업기술 체득의 중요성 등 좀 더 현실적인 미술 교육관을 갖게 되었다. 또한 예비교사들은 수업은 단순히 지식을 전달하는 것의 문제가 아니라 교사의 교육관, 철학, 지식, 수업기술, 학생과의 신뢰와 애정을 바탕으로 하는 상호작용이며 학생의 흥미와 관심이 고려되어야 함을 깨닫게 되었다. 교육실습에서의 반성적 글쓰기와 사고의 습관은 미술교육과 자신의 교육관에 대한 철학적 고찰과 아울러 그동안 배운 이론과 미술 실기능력을 학교 현장에 활용하는 미래의 실천으로 이어지기 위해 유용하게 활용될 것이다.

영문 초록

Student teaching experiences in reflective journalsJihyun Sohn(Mokwon University)There are growing body of research on reflection in preservice art education. Critical reflection in teaching is thinking about educational matters that involve not only practical issues, but moral, political, philosophical, and technical issues. The trials and errors in student teaching experience form the foundation upon which preservice teachers ideas about teaching can be built, tested and refined. The thought and value systems sharpened as part of the reflective process play a key role in determining future professional conduct. I used reflective writing for my student teachers in their field experiences. Student teachers are asked to write a journal that include knowledge of teaching, personal experiences, beliefs, description of learners, lesson content, areas of congruence and conflict with lesson plans, techniques used for planning, management, and instruction. As preservice teachers gain maturity and skill as reflective writers, they can begin to address increasingly more complex aspects of their performance, the nature progress made in solving problems, and the effects in their actions and classroom conditions.The journal writing enhances the reflective process because the process provides a means by which the preservice teachers can organize critical analysis, while the written document offers me an opportunity to respond to my preservice teachers thinking about thinking. I recommend reflective writing in student teaching and visual culture study to relate real life experience to art in preservice art education. ______________________________________
