초등 미술 표현활동에서 학생의 자기미술 비평에 관한 질적 연구

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 ‘학생의 자기미술 비평’을 정의하였고 이에 대한 필요성을 논의하였다. 또한 학생의 자기미술 비평 수업의 실제를 제시하여 양상을 분석하였고 학생의 자기미술 비평의 의의를 논의하였다. 여기에 논의한 학생의 자기미술 비평은 교수·학습 프로그램 개발에 중점을 둔 것이 아니며, 일반적인 수업상황에서 학생의 자기미술에 대한 인식을 좀 더 체계적이고 맥락적으로 접근한 것이다. 학생들이 경험하는 미술 표현활동은 복잡한 사고와 판단의 연속이다. 학생들이 재료와 용구를 통해 하나의 결과물을 형성하기까지는 많은 결정과 판단이 필요하다. 이러한 미술 표현활동에서 학생의 자기미술 비평은 학생 스스로 비평적인 관점을 갖고 자신의 표현활동을 인식해 나가는 활동을 의미한다. 미술 비평이 완성된 결과물인 작품에 관한 판단이라면, 학생의 자기미술 비평은 표현계획에서 표현정리에 이르기까지 표현의 전 과정에 대한 자기반성과 인식의 활동이다. 학생의 자기미술 비평은 언어로 표현되어, 이를 교사와 의사소통하고 주위 친구들과도 의사소통하게 된다. 학생의 자기미술 비평은 미술 표현활동을 원활하게 진행하는 방안이다.

영문 초록

A Qualitative Research on Students Self-criticism of Art Expression in Elementary SchoolKim, Heung-suk(Cheongju National University of Education)This study aims to define the concept of students’ self-criticism of art expression and discuss its necessity. To do this, it needed to present the practical class of and to discuss its implication. From this discussion, it is revealed that students’ self-criticism of art expression is not an application of programs, but an approach to students’ self-understanding of their own art work systematically and contextually.Students’ activities of art expression are continuous processes of complicated thinking and judgements. Students have to make many decisions and judgements until making a product of art work through materials and instruments. In this processes of art expression, students self-criticism of art expression can be an activity of self-understanding of art expression with their own critical perspectives. While art criticism is judgement about an completed art product, students’ self-criticism of art expression is an activity of self-reflection and understanding the process from designing to finishing art expression. In oder to share with others self-criticism of art expression, students use languages and communicate with teachers and other students. Students’ self-criticism of art expression is useful for improvement of their activities of art expression in many ways.
