국문 초록

오늘날은 급속한 경제성장과 사회 변화로 인해 질적이고 과정적인 면 보다는 양적이며 결과적인 면을 중시하는 분위기가 인간의 감성적인 면보다는 인지적인 면만을 강조하게 됨으로써 높은 자살률과 같은 여러 가지 사회문제가 발생하고 있다. 이는 결국 지적능력의 계발과 함께 감성의 함양이 조화롭게 이루어져야함을 각성시키는 것이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 아동미술의 목적이 표현 기능의 향상보다는 미적 표현활동을 통한 올바른 정서의 함양에 있으며, 미술활동을 통해 아동들이 잠재된 소리 없는 메시지를 전달한다는 점을 전제로 시각영상문화의 시대 속에서 흥미롭고 익숙한 도구로 다가갈 수 있는 사진이라는 영상매체를 활용하여 학생들의 감성에 자극을 줌으로써 감성지능의 발달을 꾀하였다. 사진을 도구로 활용한 미술활동은 카메라를 조작하여 직접 사진을 찍고 이를 가공하는 과정을 통해 자신과 타인의 감정을 이해하게 하고, 프레임을 통해 주변의 대상을 관찰함으로써 인물이나 사물에 대해 새로운 시각에서의 접근이 가능하게 한다. 따라서 사진을 활용한 표현활동이 학생들의 감성지능의 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있을 것이라는 가정 하에 사진 활동을 통한 총 12차시 분량의 감성지능계발프로그램을 설계하고 실험집단에 투입하였다. 프로그램의 투입 전·후에 감성지능측정검사를 통해 실험집단과 비교집단의 감성지능을 비교함으로써 사진을 활용한 감성지능계발프로그램의 효과성을 분석해 본 결과, 사진을 활용한 표현활동이 학생들의 감성지능계발에 긍정적인 자극을 주었으며 특히 감성지능의 정서인식, 정서표현, 정서조절 능력의 발달에 더 많은 효과가 있었음을 알 수 있었다.

영문 초록

Today, there are lots of social problems such as high suicide rate or crimes contrary to morality. That is because contemporary people tend to consider the process and quantity more important than the result and quality while experiencing rapid economic growth and social changes. It also result in the tendency that people don t emphasize our emotional aspects but emphasize our cognitive aspects, which urge us to think about the harmony between developing intellectual capacity and fostering sensibility. So, in terms of the fact that the objective of art for children is to communicate with children and to give them silent messages through various art activities, in this research I tried to develop emotional intelligence through photograph activities of the emotional intelligence developing program which enables each student to communicate with one another by photographs attracting children s interests and easy for children to utilize as a tool. Art activities using photographs as a tool enables us to understand other s emotions while taking pictures and processing them and look at a certain character or things in a new way when seeing through viewfinder. Therefore, under the hypothesis that art activities using photographs affect students emotional intelligence positively, I designed the emotional intelligence developing program which is made up of 12 sessions using photograph activities and then applied it to experimental group. As a result, when comparing the emotional intelligence of before the program with after the program, art activities using photographs as a tool influences the students emotional intelligence positively. In particular, it has more effects on emotional cognition capacity, emotional expression capacity, and emotional control capacity of the emotional intelligence.
