국문 초록

본 연구는 2019 개정 누리과정의 놀이실행에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 일반적 배경에 대한 인식차이를 살펴봄으로써, 유아교육 현장에서 유아중심·놀이중심 교육과정 운영을 위한 기초자료로 활용하는데목적이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 B시의 유아교육기관에 재직 중인 유아 교사 168명을 대상으로 설문조사를실시하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 2019 개정 누리과정의 놀이실행에 대한 유아교사의 인식은 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 구체적으로 살펴보면, 상호작용, 놀이자료, 평가하기, 놀이안전, 일과 구성하기, 교육지원 계획해보기, 놀이공간 순으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 2019 개정 누리과정의 놀이실행은 기관유형에 따른 차이가 나타났으며, 어린이집 교사가 유치원 교사보다 높게 인식하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 개정 누리과정이 현장에내실 있게 안착되기 위해 교사의 근무 기관유형과 개별 교사의 교육과정 이해도에 따라 교육과정 실행역량을 강화하기 위한 지원 방향과 전략을 다각적으로 모색할 필요가 있음을 시사한다고 하겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine early childhood teachers’ perceptions of ‘play’ implementation in the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum and provide some implications for teachers in managing the child-centered and play-based curriculum. 168 early childhood teachers who are currently working at various early childhood education institutions in B city were asked to complete a survey. The results showed that first, early childhood teachers’ perceptions of play implementation in the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum were generally high. Specifically, interactions, play materials, evaluation, play safety, managing daily routines, planning educational support, and play space were found to be high in order. Second, their perceptions of play implementation in the 2019 revised Nuri curriculum differed according to the type of institutions. Childcare teachers’ percpetions were found to be highers than Kindergarten teachers. Results suggests various ways that teacher educators support early childhood teacher to successfully implement the revised Nuri curriculum according to the type of the teachers’ working instituions and their understanding of curriculum.
