영화를 통해 본 학교폭력문화의 실상과 대안

국문 초록

본고는 현재 학교현장에 확산되어있는 생명경시 풍조와 인간성 상실, 감성의 빈곤,자기 존중감 및 정체성의 약화 등 부정적인 학교환경을 이 시대 그늘진 문화의 한 부분으로 파악하여 미술교육적 대안을 찾고자 하는 하나의 시도이다. 연구의 목적은, 이시대 주요 시각 미디어인 영화 속에 나타나있는 학교폭력의 실상(성격, 유형, 상관성등)을 구체적으로 고찰.분석함으로써 교육적 대안을 모색하고, 그 해법의 하나로서미술교육적 대안을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위해, 먼저 학교폭력관련 영화 4편을 선정하고, 그 내용 고찰을 통해 등장인물의 성격과 학교 상황, 인간관계와 주위 환경, 갈등구조 및 폭력의 유형 등을 분석하였다. 그 다음, 이를 바탕으로 학교폭력문화의 공통점과 문제점을 도출하고, 그 해결을 위한 7가지 교육적 대안들을 제시하였다. 아울러,치유적 관점에서 연구자가 구안.실천해 온 생명사랑 미술교육 사례들을 소개하고, 학교문제의 해법의 하나로서 미술교육적 대안들을 제시하였다. 즉, ① 미술활동을 통한자아강화-인간 정신의 성장과 행동 개선 가능, ② 치유적 관점에서 다양한 조형 활동을 통한 학생의 긍정적 행동 변화 유도, ③ 생명 존중과 사랑의 마음을 육성하여 스스로 행복한 삶을 발견해가는 성숙한 미술교육의 실천, ④ ‘모든 것은 바로 내 안에 있다’는 관계적 사고에 기초한 자신감과 정체성을 기르는 미술교육의 연구 및 실천의 확산이 그것이다. 생명사랑 미술교육을 통해 어린이와 청소년의 정서와 인성이 되살아나고창조적 예술혼이 활성화된다면, 미술교육의 힘을 통한 긍정적인 사회변화도 가능하게되리라 확신한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate educational alternatives by analyzing movies that involves bullying. For this purpose, I chose 4 movies related to bullying and analyzed the charactor s personality, human relationship, school environment and cause of conflict. As a result, common points were derived in bullying culture and solutions perspectives of art therapy were suggested. This study drew common point and problem in school violence based on those 4 movies and suggested 7 educational alternatives. (1) Accept and recognize the students as they are, (2) the teachers and family approach the student with love and listen and focus on reasons of their action, (3)school continues to promote positive action, (4) the teachers acknowledge the students in new way, (5)help the students so they can truly achieve their dreams by doing what they want to do and what they want to become, (6) help the students discover who they really are and see themselves in different point of view, (7) help their negative behaviors change to positive energy by recognizing accepting and supporting their precious values. Here are some suggestions of life-love art education cases and art educational alternatives. (1) Growth of ego strengthening-human mind through art activity and behavior improvement, (2) positive behavior inducement through various and free modeling activity in therapeutic perspective, (3) practice art education that finds happiness through repecting others and showing affections from the heart, (4) exploration and proliferation of art education that cultivates self confidence is based on the idea ‘success and happiness is within me’.
