언어의 영향력이 미술교육에 주는 시사점

국문 초록

본 연구는 긍정적 또는 부정적 의미의 언어가 미술표현활동에 미치는 변화를 탐색하고 언어의 영향력이 미술교육에 주는 시사점을 도출하여 제시하였다. 이를 위해, 문헌연구와 실험연구를 병행하여 언어의 힘과 그 영향력에 대해 고찰하였다. 특히, 언어반응실험을 통해 사물에 미치는 언어의 힘과 영향력을 과학적으로 살펴보고, 언어로 연상하는 이미지 표현 미술수업을 통해 긍정적 또는 부정적 언어가 미술교육에 미치는작용과 영향력을 비교, 분석하였다. 연구결과, 미술교육에서 언어의 의미와 그 영향력은 학생들의 미적 이미지 형성과 구도, 색상, 선의 굵기와 상태, 작품 전체의 분위기등에 다양한 변화와 차이를 가져옴을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론적으로, 언어의 영향력이미술교육에 주는 시사점은, ① 긍정적 언어를 활용한 미술수업으로 주요 미술교과역량의 향상 가능성, ② 인간의 정서와 이미지는 언어의 의미에 상응하며 변화, ③ 언어의힘과 영향력에 기초한 미적 감각의 확장 가능, ④ 미술과 목표와 내용체계에 신개념언어의 보완 필요성, ⑤ 새로운 연구영역의 확대와 교수·학습방법의 개발 필요성, ⑥ 관련 교사연수의 확대 필요, 로 제시하였다. 언어의 영향력을 활용한 미술교육의 적극적인 실천은 향후, ‘행복교육’의 실현에 기여할 것으로 확신한다.

영문 초록

This study exploits the changes which positive or negative meanings of languages influence to activities of art expression and suggests the impact of languages on art education implications. To this end, I investigated the literature reviews and experimental study on the power and influence of the languages. In particular, I explored scientifically the power and influences of language which affect things through the verbal response experiment, and compared and analyzed the effect and influence of the positive or negative language on art education through language associated image expression in art classes. Upon investigation I found the meanings and the influences of language in art education which bring the various changes and differences on which students make the aesthetic form of images, composition, color, the thickness and the characters of lines, and the whole atmosphere of their works of art. In conclusion, I suggested the implications and insights for art education by using the impact of language: ① the potential improvement for the holistic art subject competencies using positive language to art class, ② human emotions and images changes in the correspond to the meaning of language, ③ the possibility of expansion of the aesthetic sense based on the power and influence of language, ④ the need of complement of the new concepts of language in the objectives and contents of art subject, ⑤ the needs of the expansion of new research areas and the development of teaching and learning methods, ⑥ the need of extending the related teacher training. I am sure that the active art education practice using the power of language will contribute to in future the realization of ‘happiness education’.
