한국과 독일의 뮤지엄 관람객 증가 요인에 대한 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 한국과 독일의 관람객수 증가에 대한 비교연구이다. 연구 대상은 우리나라의 2014~2016 뮤지엄 연보 그리고 2015 독일의 뮤지엄 통계 전수조사 데이터이다. 연구는 두 데이터를 비교 분석하여 두 가지 결과를 얻었다. 첫째, 특별전 횟수, 미술 전시, 지역 사회와과 관련된 특별 전시와 과학과 기술박물관이 관람객수 증가 요인으로 나타났다. 둘째, 관람객들이 선호하는 뮤지엄 유형은 관람객수 증가 요인으로 볼수 있다는 점이다. 관람객들은 역사와 고고학 박물관, 문화사적 특별 박물관과 자연과학과 기술 박물관을 선호했으며, 내국인은 민속 박물관과 향토 박물관을, 여행객은 고궁과 성, 뮤지엄 단지, 그리고 자연사 박물관 순으로 방문했다. 모든 뮤지엄 유형에서학급 단위 학생들은 전체 관람객수의 20%까지 차지하며, 역사와 고고학 박물관은 다른뮤지엄 유형보다 학급 단위 학생 방문이 많고, 그 뒤로 자연사 박물관이 따르고 있다. 연구 결과에 대한 시사점은 지속적인 관람객수 증가를 위해서는 특별전 콘텐츠 및 지역 사회와 관련한 콘텐츠 개발이 필요하며, 전시 주제를 관람객의 선행 조직자와 관련시켜야 하는 점이다. 또한 관람객 개발은 학교 교육을 통해 일어나야 한다는 점이다.

영문 초록

This study is a comparative study on the increase factors in the number of museum visitors in Korea and Germany. The subjects of the study are the annual report of museum in 2014 ~ 2016 in Korea and 2015 statistics data of museum in Germany. Two results were obtained by comparing and analyzing two data. First, special exhibitions related to the number of special exhibitions, art exhibitions, local communities, and science and technology museums showed that the number of visitors increased. Second, the type of museum that viewers prefer is an increase in the number of visitors. Visitors preferred historical and archeological museums, cultural and historical museums, and natural science and technology museums. Koreans visited folk museums and local museums, tourists visited ancient palaces and castles, museum complexes, and natural history museums. In all museum types, classroom students account for up to 20% of the total number of visitors, and history and archaeological museums are more visited by classroom students than other museum types, followed by the natural history museum. The implications of this study are as follows: First, in order to increase the number of visitors continuously, it is necessary to develop contents related to the contents of special exhibition and community, and to relate the theme of exhibition to the precedent organizer of visitors. Second, it was suggested that the development of visitors should take place through school education.
