국문 초록

본 연구에서는 시각장애학생들을 위한 미술관 교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용을 통 해서 장애인의 문화접근성의 확대를 위한 전시 연계 교육의 시사점을 살펴보고자 하였다. 국내외 미술관의 시각장애인을 위한 교육 프로그램 및 연구를 고찰하고, 스토리텔링 기반 터치투어를 개발·적용하였다. 연구기간은 2019년 3월부터 6월까지 총 3개월에 걸쳐서 이루어졌으며 전시 연계 스토리텔링 기반 터치 투어가 5월 13일 부터 15일까지 3일간 진행되었다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 본 연구의 결론으로 중요한 사항을 정리해 보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 미술관의 공간에 대한 친숙감을 위해 공간 탐색의 시간을 갖는다. 둘째, 작품의 특징을 충분하게 그리고 천천히 설명한다. 셋째, 촉각 이외에도 청각 등의 다감각적 접근 및 잔존 시각을 활용한 협력적 감상 활동을 수행한다. 넷째, 전시 관련 스토리뿐만 아니라 관람자들의 스토리가 관람 과정에서 공유될 수 있도록 한다. 다섯째, 표현 활동 및 전시 활동을 통해서 학생 들의 자긍심과 사회의 중요한 일원이라는 소속감을 느낄 수 있다.

영문 초록

Through the development and application of art museum education programs for the visually impaired, this study was intended to examine the possibility of exhibition-linked education for the expansion of cultural accessibility for the disabled. Education programs and research for the visually impaired in domestic and foreign art museums were reviewed, and storytelling-based touch tour was developed and applied. The research was conducted over a total of three months from March to June 2019, and the exhibition-linked storytelling-based touch tour was held for three days from May 13th to 15th. The results of the study are as follows. First, storytelling plays an important role in making students storytelling as well as understanding the work. Second, the touch tour also utilizes multi-sensory appreciation methods such as collaborative use of residual vision or sense of hearing and smell. Third, through storytelling-based touch tours, students can freely share different ideas and feel a sense of belonging as one of important members of society.
