중학생의 진로성숙도 향상을 위한 기술·가정교과 연계 집단상담 프로그램 개발

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 중학생을 대상으로 기술·가정교과와 연계한 진로성숙도 향상 집단상담 프로그램을 구안하고 실시하여 이들의 진로성숙도에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 검증하는데 있다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 설정한 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학생의 진로성숙도 향상을 위한 기술·가정교과 연계 프로그램은 어떤 절차와 방법으로 구안되어야 하는가? 둘째, 중학생의 진로성숙도 향상을 위한 기술·가정교과 연계 프로그램은 중학생의 진로성숙도 향상에 효과가 있는 가이다. 연구대상은 경기도화성시 소재 A중학교 3학년 학생들 중 2개 학급을 대상으로 실험집단 36명과 통제집단 37명으로 구성하였다. 프로그램은 박인우(1995)의 상담프로그램 개발 모형을 토대로 총 13회기로 구안하였다. 구안한 프로그램을 기술·가정교과 시간을 활용하여 실험집단에 적용하였다. 검사 도구는 임인재, 김봉환(2008)의 중·고등학생용 진로성숙도 검사(CMT)를 사용하였으며 혼합변량분석(Mixed ANOVA)을 사용하여 통계적 결과를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 진로성숙도 향상을 위한 기술·가정교과 연계 집단상담 프로그램에 참여한 실험집단의 진로성숙도의 변화가 통제집단의 변화와 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 진로성숙도 하위영역별 분석에서 관여성과 진로정보처리능력 영역을 제외하고 확신성, 독립성, 현실조화성 영역에서 실험집단의 변화가 통제집단의 변화와 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구는 교육과정의 일환으로 운영되고 있는 기술·가정교과와 연계한 중학생의 진로발달 특성에 맞는 진로성숙도 향상 프로그램을 개발함으로써 학교현장에 보다 쉽게 적용할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to design and administer a group counseling program to improve the career maturity level in combination with home economy & technology subject for middle school students and test the effect of the group counseling on the career maturity level. The study class consisted of 36 students in the experimental group and 37 students in the control group from 2 classes selected from the 3rd-grade classes of A middle school located in Hwasung, Gyeonggi-do, This program consisted of total 13 sessions and during the home economy & technology subject. The results of this study were as follows: there was a significant difference between the experimental group who participated in the group counseling program combined with technology subject and the control group in the change in career maturity. The results from the analysis on the sub-scales showed that the commitment and career information processing ability were improved in both experimental and control groups which did not show any significant difference, whereas there were significant differences between the experimental and the control groups in the changes in such areas as certainty, independence and harmonization with reality. The implications of this study include the facts that this study developed a group counseling program to improve career maturity appropriate for the characteristics of career development in the middle school students, and it provides the data with high applicability and usefulness for the school settings in combination with technology subject taught to the students in a practical manner.
