고등학생의 진로스트레스, 자기효능감과 사회적 문제해결능력의 관계모형 검증

국문 초록

본 연구는 고등학생을 대상으로 진로스트레스, 자기효능감과 사회적 문제해결능력의 관계모형을 설정하고, 진로스트레스와 사회적 문제해결능력의 관계에서 자기효능감의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 고등학생 960명을 대상으로 하여 자기보고식 질문지법에 의해 자료를 수집하였다. 선행변인인 진로스트레스와 매개변인인 자기효능감이 사회적 문제해결능력에 영향을 미친다고 가정한 연구모형을 설정하였다. 연구모형을 검증하기 위하여 상관분석과 구조방정식모형(SEM) 검증을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 고등학생의 진로 스트레스는 자기효능감과 사회적 문제해결능력에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 자기효능감이 높을수록 사회적 문제해결능력이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로스트레스를 예언변인으로, 자기효능감을 매개변인으로, 사회적 문제해결능력을 결과변인으로 설정한 연구모형은 모든 경로가 유의미하고 연구모형의 적합도도 양호한 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 진로스트레스와 사회적 문제해결능력 간의 관계에서 자기효능감이 매개변인으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과는 고등학생들의 진로스트레스를 효과적으로 다루고 사회적 문제해결능력을 향상시키기 위해 자기효능감을 길러주는 교육적 개입이 필요함을 시사한다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 고등학생의 자기효능감과 사회적 문제해결능력을 향상시키기 위한 방안을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted in order to test a model in relation to career stress, self-efficacy, and the social problem solving capability of high school students. The authors also sought to test the mediating effects of self-efficacy in the relationship between career stress and social problem solving capability. Data was collected through a self-report questionnaire which was administered to 960 high school students. Career stress were selected as prerequisite variables. In addition self-efficacy was selected as a mediating variable, which was assumed to affect social problem solving capability. Correlational analysis and structure equation modeling analysis were conducted to test the research models. The results were as follows. First, career stress had a negative impact on the self-efficacy and social problem solving capability. Second, positive perception of self-efficacy had a positive impact on the social problem solving capability. Third, all paths in the research model were statistically significant, and the fit of the model was deemed to be good. Fourth, the mediating effect of self-efficacy in the relationship between career stress and social problem solving capability was found to be significant. The results of this study suggest that it is necessary to offer educational intervention for high school students to effectively deal with career stress and promote their self-efficacy in order to promote their social problem solving capability.
