진로장벽, 진로결정자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향: 중학교, 인문고, 특성화고 비교

국문 초록

본 연구는 중학교와 고등학교에 재학중인 학생들을 대상으로 하여 진로장벽과 진로결정자기효능감이 진로준비행동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구대상은 중학생 816명(47.9%), 인문계고 440명(25.8%), 특성화고 447명(26.2%) 총 1,703명이었다. 교육 기관에 따라 학생들의 응답 내용에 차이가 있는지를 알아보기 위해 일원분산분석을 사용하여 데이터 분석을 하였다. 그리고 직업준비행동에 어떤 요인이 효과적인지 조사하기 위해 상관관계 분석과 회귀분석을 사용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 진로장벽이 높을수록 진로준비행동은 낮고 진로결정자기효능감이 높을수록 더 많은 진로준비행동을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중학생은 진로장벽의 7개 요인 중에 자기 이해 부족, 성역할 갈등 및 성차별, 진로 및 직업정보의 부족이 진로준비행동에 영향을 주고, 인문계고는 경제적 어려움도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특성화고 학생의 경우 중요한 타인과의 관계도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 진로결정자기효능감에서는 중학생과 고등학생 모두에서 진로결정자기효능감의 5개 요인 중에 직업정보와 계획 수립 효능감 요인이 진로준비행동에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의와 한계 및 앞으로의 연구 과제를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This research is to investigate how such factors like career barriers, career decision-making self-efficacy have impact on career preparation behaviors of middle and high school students. The sample was made of 1,703 students: 816 students in middle school, 440 students in academic high school, 447 students in specialized high school respectively. Data analysis used in the study is the one way ANOVA to look into any difference of their behaviors by the class of educational institute. And correlation analysis and regression analysis are also used to make survey which factors effect on career preparation behavior. The results are to be summarized as follows; First, The higher the perceived career barrier is, the lower the level of career preparation behavior is. But the higher the perceived career decision-making self-efficacy is, the higher the level of career preparation behavior is. Second, middle, academic and specialized high school students gave answers that they consider as the most important factors on career preparation behavior : the inefficient self-understanding, conflicted sex-role behavior, sexual discrimination, insufficient information on career path and occupation among 7 primary factors of career development barrier. In addition, the academic high school students were also influenced by economic difficulties, and the specialized high school students were affected by important others’ relationship as well. Third, from the point of self-efficacy, all of those respondents said that information on occupation and career planning efficacy was one of most important factors among 5 primary factors of career decision-making self-efficacy. Last, we have discussed the meaning and limit of this study, and made suggestions for the future research.
