청소년이 인지한 부모갈등차원이 자아개념에 미치는 영향- 매개효과 검증을 중심으로 -

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 청소년이 인지한 부모갈등차원을 규명하고 부모갈등차원이 청소년의 자아개념에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 부모갈등차원은 요인분석을 적용하였고 변인들 간의 구조적 관계와 매개효과를 파악하기 위해 회귀분석을 적용하였다. 요인분석 결과, 부모갈등은 3개 차원으로 구성되었으며 요인 1은 부모갈등의 빈도, 강도, 해결방안으로 구성되어 ‘갈등적 속성’을 반영한다. 요인 2는 부모갈등이 청소년 자신의 책임으로 인지하는 항목들로 구성되어 있으며, 요인 3은 부모갈등에 대해 심리적 위협을 느끼는 항목들로 구성되어 있다. 회귀분석 결과, 갈등적 속성은 정서적, 사회적, 학업 및 성취, 관계적 자아에 부정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 매개효과를 산출한 결과, 갈등적 속성은 매개변수인 위협과 자기비난을 통해 정서적 자아에서 관계적 자아에 이르기까지 24%～47%까지 설명하는 것으로 파악되었다.

영문 초록

Research on the mechanisms by which interparental conflict affects self-conscious of children suggests that both parenting and children’s conflict appraisals play important roles. The identification of interparental conflict patterns began with a factor analysis and the result was a three-factor solution indicating that the three-factor solution reflected an underlying pattern of interparental conflict. In this study, threat and self-blame were examined as mediators of the relation between interparental conflict and self-conscious. Regression analysis was performed to examine mediation effect and the extend to which interparental conflict predicted adolescent s self-conscious, taking threat and self-blame as mediate variables. Findings indicate that both threat and self-blame play a role in understanding the impact of conflict properties on self-conscious of adolescent. Based on the findings of this study, implications for the adolescent and parents are provided.
