국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 대학생의 타협에 따른 진로스트레스의 관계에서 진로결정자기효능감의 조절효과를 확인하는 것이다. 이를 위해 4년제 대학의 재학생 228명을 대상으로 진로타협수준, 진로스트레스, 진로결정자기효능감 수준을 측정하였다. 연구의 자료는 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 조절변인 분석절차에 따라 단계선택을 통한 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 우선, 진로타협과 진로스트레스는 유의미한 정적상관을 보였다. 진로결정자기효능감은 진로스트레스와 유의미한 부적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 진로결정자기효능감은 진로타협과 진로스트레스 관계에서 조절효과가 있다는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 조절효과의 구체적인 양상을 살펴본 결과 진로타협의 수준이 증가할수록 집단 간 스트레스 차이가 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 본 연구의 제한점 및 진로상담 현장에서의 의의와 시사점에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the moderating effect of career decision making self-efficacy on the relationship between career compromise and career stress of Korean university students. To this end, levels of career compromise, career stress, and career decision making self-efficacy in 228 Korean university students were assessed. Baron and Kenny’s moderating test procedure was used and multiple regression analysis through the stepwise selection method was conducted. Results revealed a significant positive relationship between career compromise and career stress and a significant negative relationship between career decision making self-efficacy and career stress. Career decision making self-efficacy had a moderating effect on the relationship between career compromise and career stress. In addition, higher levels of career compromise correlated with a decrease in career stress differences between groups. Implications, limitations and considerable recommendations for career counselors are discussed.
